Ya I wasnt completely sure on that rule so I hid away a depths and a hexmage in my sideboard to use living wish with. Crop rotation is a pretty nasty card for sure and I love the idea of Joraga! I'm pretty sure you could make an elf deck that summons marit lage and an infinite quillspike. Potentially extremely powerful. there are only so many removal spells at someones disposal at one time lol yeah maybe they killed your 20/20 but now they got an infinite/infinite to deal with. You could even hide an emrakul in there. with all the mana your producing the old spaghetti monster would be easy to put into play. if he is in your sideboard you can living wish for him too. Ya I dont think this would be a deck I would be thrilled about playing against lol. So the only suggestions I can think of would be an emrakul. maybe one main deck and one sideboard. and consider putting that infinite mana into helix pinnacle if you are unable to attack. This would give your deck so many win conditions. marit lage, quillspike, helix pinnacle, or just plain elves. lots of versatility.

oh and if youre splashing in green there is another cool little combo you can use with quillspike and devoted druid. could be a fun little backup plan once they waste all their control cards trying to deal with marit lage
well if you splash in green there is always stuff like crop rotation to dig into your deck and grab what you need. or living wish to grab what you need from outside the game (i believe that counts towards anything your opponent removes) or if you wanna just grab your hexmage AND your dark depths from the graveyard in one shot there is a beautiful card called grim discovery. hope that helps!
Urborg, tomb of yawgmoth is a big help with dark depths. drop it first turn then drop your dark depths next turn. tap both of them to cast your hexmage then sac him and get your 20/20. of course i like to always have a backup plan. check out my dark depths deck it might give you some ideas. http://www.mtgvault.com/nba1523/decks/the-call-of-cthulu/
good call. I'll definitely consider that
lord of the void definitely. demon of deaths gate isnt a bad choice either
im thinking perilous research might be a good sac outlet for veteran explorer and flagstones.
oh gotcha. good call
i would consider cho-manno's blessing over shelter
thrumming stone? lol it was always fun with relentless rats... oh and i would play more demon of death's gate. first time i drew a sample hand i coulda had him out second turn. 9/9 flying trample on second turn aint too shabby. throw in a dark ritual and you could drop him first turn!
descendants path might go very well with senseis divining top
i would suggest ludevic's test subject. might be fun
ah gotcha. my bad
lotus petals and 2 drops work just as fine for me.
ya with enough luck. at 8 creatures your chances are much lower of getting that perfect hand
you need more creatures and some invigorates. check out my version of this deck for ideas: http://www.mtgvault.com/nba1523/decks/blight-assassins/
+1 just for the sad panda reference. btw i got my own version of the call of the cthulu, using marit lage as the ancient one. http://www.mtgvault.com/nba1523/decks/the-call-of-cthulu/
i would consider conjurers closet
reassembling skeleton might be fun
hey go look at a card called omniscience. then look at a card called enter the infinite. it basically means you win.
