if you wanted to go blue, paradise mantle and pemmin's aura makes macar a beastly infinite combo

Vraska the unseen, Dolmen gate and bow of nylea might help you out a bit if you wanted to raise the budget. infiltration lens should be a must have. not sure if the lens stacks for each creature but either way that's some awesome card draw. Shinen of life's roar is a cheaper alternative to noble quarry and taunting elf might have potential in a deck like this. hope that helps!

Good call!! I'll have to switch it out for another hydra or something similar. I have been thinking about making this deck run a little more smoothly without the combo but I haven't gotten around to thinking about it yet.

so i have lifeline in the sideboard here cause im not quite sure how it works. if for example i have primal forcemage in play and then play a creature like spark elemental do i sac it at end of turn and then return it to play?
