Yeah, shouldn't really be a problem. Works better with Howl of the Horde this way, too.

I think I would prefer Sign in Blood over Night's Whisper. Since you're already dealing lots of damage you could use it to finish opponents when they're low. More flexibility is always good in my book. Only difference is that it costs two black mana instead of one black and one generic.
Well, if they're not blocking they get damaged by the creatures, right? So at some point they will block. But I get what you mean, the focus is just not there.EDIT: Ah, I misremembered Iroas. Thought he was making your guys indestructible and not prevent the damage. of course, that's bad in this setup. :)Boros Charm on the other hand does make your perms indestructible. Maybe that one's nice for this deck. How about Nemesis Mask then? It's an equipment for 3 (equip cost 3 as well). Says: "All creatures able to block equipped creature do so."Or you could force blocks with unpleasant equipment like Quietus Spike that halves the opponent's life total when the equipped creature deals combat damage to him.
What about Iroas, God of Victory? Makes your attackers indestructible and gets more damage from blockers due to more blockers needing to be assigned.
Yeah, Vigilance becomes worthless in conjunction with her, "Enters battlefield tapped" on the other hand becomes good. And who needs Vigilance when you get to Bolster 4 or something each turn. :)
Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth makes all lands into Swamps (in addition to their other types).
Nice find, good to have two of those effects in that deck.
"Silent Arbiter" is pretty awesome and screams Exalted. It's an 1/5 artifact creature for 4 mana. And it says "No more than one creature can attack each combat. No more than one creature can block each combat."
Hmmm, you only use black mana for three Tutors. I feel like you could leave that out if you use solid replacements. Maybe Tezzeret the Seeker, he can tutor for artifacts and put them onto the battlefield. Also, he can untap them which goes nicely with the Empire stuff. Another way to tutor for artifacts is Kuldotha Forgemaster. "sac three artifacts (can be him as well), search for one and put it onto the battlefield". Needs some more artifacts to sacrifice though. Check them out. Takes the pressure off of the mana base.Of course there are some other cards that are not Modern but I'm guessing you want to stay in that format since you put it as a tag.
First strike unfortunately doesn't affect "fighting". It's a combat phase-only thing.Nighthawk is awesome though. As is Hexmage, both are really useful.
Nice one! You did well. Thanks. :)I especially like "Rockslide Elemental" in there. Good idea. Two "Deathbringer Thoctar" would rock, though. It's totally insane with deathtouch and "Feast on the Fallen".Another idea: More deathtouch equipments instead of the Auras. They're reusable after all (although that Aura's toughness bonus is pretty nice). "Basilisk Collar" would be great but obviously isn't really Budget. "Gorgon Flail" would be the next best thing.
Vein Drinker is a vampire and comes with fighting build-in. :)
"Budget"xD
Nice, thanks! Will check it out later today. You're quite the creative deckbuilder pumping out one deck after another. :)
For first strike and deathtouch check out Ankle Shanker. It's a mean mofo.
I saw your comments, haven't gotten around to checking out all the suggested cards yet though. But I already saw that you suggested Infiltration Lense which I didn't know of. Really like that one! Thanks for the input, I'll let you know what I think.Concerning Type II, it's something I dabbled in for the first time as I love to have some restrictions/limitations in deckbuilding. The decks aren't extremely competitive, I guess, although I might check out FNM with one of them. Thus, should you take a look at them, disregard the "Standard Meta" and just comment on their capabilities. :)
Ah, that's what you meant. In that case Deathrender seems like a very good addition indeed. Maybe another Emeria, Sky Ruin, as well? Or a second Gift of Immortality.Faith's Reward could also be to your liking.Sneak Attack is a (very expensive) method for alternate casting. Could fit since you're already splashing red.
Hm? You don't really need to hardcast them. Eminem's ability is fine, it just doesn't trigger the "when it attacks" stuff for the creature put into game that way. Some instant-attach-equipment possibilities for the creature you put onto the field with Eminem could be Hero's Blade (for legendary creatures), Sai of Shinobi and Ronin Warclub.Deathrender seems nice as well. Maybe two of those and a Hero's Blade/Ronin Warclub? Or one Render and two Clubs/Blades?
If you want to go for even more discard damage you can add "Megrim" as well. It's essentially "Liliana's Caress" only difference being that it triggers damage and not loss of life. And it costs 3.
Funny you find this one crystal clear although the creature is still "attacking". I mean, it's the same wording after all. :DStill, this link here should end all doubts. It may hurt and I don't enjoy doing this but, well, the rules are the rules. ;)http://magiccards.info/query?q=preeminent+captain&v=card&s=cname"Any abilities of the Soldier creature card that trigger “Whenever [this creature] attacks” won’t trigger because the creature was never declared as an attacking creature."Sure, no hurry. Thanks for taking a look!
