Hey there, looks like a nice and fun deck! Ü I got a bunch of card suggestions in no particular order if you're looking for more lifegain instances:Lands:Kabira Crossroadshttp://magiccards.info/ddf/en/33.htmlOrzhova, the Church of Dealshttp://magiccards.info/gp/en/162.htmlVault of the Archangelhttp://magiccards.info/md1/en/17.htmlMiren, the Moaning Wellhttp://magiccards.info/sok/en/163.htmlRadiant Fountainhttp://magiccards.info/m15/en/245.htmlCreatures:Pious Evangelhttp://magiccards.info/soi/en/34a.htmlSoul Wardenhttp://magiccards.info/mm3/en/24.htmlSoulmenderhttp://magiccards.info/m15/en/35.htmlGhost-Lit Redeemerhttp://magiccards.info/sok/en/10.htmlInstant:http://magiccards.info/akh/en/25.htmlThere's a bit to get you some more inspiration, hopefully. ÜAlso, you should check out cards with the "Extort" mechanic. That one's pretty good if you need a lot of small lifegain instances.Cheers,Morty

Looks like a "fun" deck. ;)Don't know if there are fringe cases where this could be relevant but Curse of Chains is the same as Narcolepsy without the intervening if-clause.
There was a recent card that was a pretty good fit for the deck as well, namely Trespasser's Curse. In a two-player game it's essentially the same as Blood Seeker but as an enchantment and it brings back the lifegain! I'm currently trying that one out instead of the Seekers since they're harder to remove for my opponent. Three less creatures for Beck and Blood Artist, though, so I'll see how that weighs in. Deck's getting stronger... now at some point I gotta work out a viable sideboard, so I can surprise someone at a tournament with this. :DOn a sidenote: Are you into commander? I'm currently trying to build a Yasova deck but hit kind of a snag. Take a look if you're interested. Would be appreciated:http://www.mtgvault.com/morty/decks/yasova-needs-edhelp/
It's called the "planeswalker uniqueness rule". Just to put the correct name out there.
Shadows of the Past: Hmm, I think the Scry is kinda negligible. I dig through the deck with temples, Beck//Call and Sultai Charm. Not sure another enabler is needed. The second ability is probably too hard to actually turn on as the deck doesn't run a lot of creatures (and I'm about to swap out the three Bloodseekers with Trespasser's Curse, so there's even less).Lumberknot: Pretty cool, despite being kinda slow. I'll keep it in mind for possible sideboard shenanigans. Thx!
Not exactly sure whether I should run additional removal/board wipes. The static enchantments do their job pretty well already.
Doooom. Doooom!
Hi there! This deck is so much fun to pilot. Even if it looks dire for some turns, the comeback can happen very explosively and suddenly you're back at 20 and your opponent is clinging to bare life. :DI got a deck that functions very similarly but also a bit different. I'm using more draw/removal and try to get more out of Forbidden Orchard with copy-lands. Check it out if you like, maybe there's some inspiration to be found. :)http://www.mtgvault.com/morty/decks/treacherous-tokens/Trespasser's Curse is actually a pretty nice idea! A bit more resilient than Blood Seeker/Blood Artist. I'm probably goona replace those Seekers. Nice find!Cheers,Morty
Ha, nice theme!
Hey Koonamy, just wanted to let you know that after playing some time with them I kept the 3 Blood Seekers you suggested in the deck, instead of the 2 Falkenrath nobles and one Thespian Stage. Runs pretty well! The missing lifegain is noticable but that earlier lifeloss for your opponent is, too! As for the Hunted Horrors, they still seem more like a sideboard plan to me albeit a good one. For the main board they don't support the strategy of lots-of-weak-tokens well enough. Boarding them in to become more aggro looks like a sweet plan, though.Best,MortyOh and also, I changed the deckname into Treacherous Tokens. I like my alliterations. :)
There actually is a banned-list for Commander as well. Currently banned are the following: Ancestral Recall Balance Biorhythm Black Lotus Braids, Cabal Minion Coalition Victory Channel Emrakul, the Aeons Torn Erayo, Soratami Ascendant Fastbond Gifts Ungiven Griselbrand Karakas Leovold, Emissary of Trest Library of Alexandria Limited Resources Mox Sapphire, Ruby, Pearl, Emerald and Jet Painter's Servant Panoptic Mirror Primeval Titan Prophet of Kruphix Recurring Nightmare Rofellos, Llanowar Emissary Sway of the Stars Sundering Titan Sylvan Primordial Time Vault Time Walk Tinker Tolarian Academy Trade Secrets Upheaval Worldfire Yawgmoth's BargainYou can find this stuff onhttp://mtgcommander.net/rules.phpDuel Commander has a separate ban-list as far as I know.Oh and also you should check out Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons from the new set. She really likes -1/-1 counters. :)
You probably won't make a lot of friends at the table when you're playing Infect as it often is considered pretty cheap and kinda makes the whole point of having 40 life pretty moot. If you want everyone in your Commander group to have fun, just ask your buddies beforehand if they're fine with playing with poison counters. If not you can switch from Infect to Wither or focus more on the +1/+1-counter theme. And if they're fine with it, you'll still be the main target once each of your opponents has poison counters, so at least I recommend cards like Propaganda and Ghostly Prison to fortify your position. :)
Hi again, Puschkin.I actually made the family into a (EDH) clan. :)So if you want to check it out, go ahead and follow thiiiis link:http://www.mtgvault.com/morty/decks/gobbos-dysfunctional-clan/I'd appreciate your input on the deck. It's my first self-made commander deck after all. I know I'm not playing some mana staples (like Sol Ring for example) but I'm kinda bothered by the formula of "needing" them in every deck. Also, I aimed to stay true to the mischievious Goblin spirit and put some cards for pure shenanigans in there. May be suboptimal overall but I like having the deck fit the theme as much as possible. :)The sideboard consists of cards I'm more or less considering for further changes.Have played the deck only once for now (versus Sigarda, Heron's Grace and Alesha) and won, pretty close shave, though (the four essential cards were Basilisk Collar, Goblin Chieftain, Krenko and Descent of the Dragons).Cheers,Morty
Wow, what a coincidence. I just went on here to check this deck for Commander cards. I thought about expanding the family a bit and since I'm already using a lot of 1-ofs I'm not far off a working Wort, Boggart Auntie Commander deck.I actually swapped a few cards in this. For example I took out Lash Out and replaced it with a Lightning Strike. I think the Lash Out was still in there because this was originally the precon Goblin deck from Lorwyn that I updated and reworked over the years as I liked but yeah, never really noticed that Clash doesn't make sense at all.I replaced Hoarder's Greed with Sign in Blood for the same reason. Also, I took out the Signal Pest and added Shared Animosity for more impact.I moved on to other decks from this. Still play the deck occasionally but chose to not make it Modern viable after all. Your suggestion are still very useful as I will use some of those cards for the huge, new (even more dysfunctional?) family in the Commander deck. Thanks for checking back in after all this time! :)
You're probably not gonna be able to gain a lot of life through Aetherflux Reservoir since your spells are too expensive overall, so how about Felidar Sovereign instead? Great life gain and also alternate win con!
Nice! Korlash is great, I'm thinking about building something with it as well.Check out Liliana of the Dark Realms, could help with Swamps and also buff your creatures (Vampire Nighthawk!) or kill your opponents'.Also, Nightmare Incursion might intrigue you, maybe as a sideboard card...Cheers!
Nice version! I'll keep that Blood Seeker in mind. That's a pretty great alternative for the Noble you found there. Could be more reliable that way. There's really some nice stuff that can be done with this.I wrote a longer reply to you at my deck, fellow token hater. ;DCheers!
Hi Koonamy! Thanks a lot for taking the time and trying out this deck! I played it a few times as well and was pretty happy with it as well. It's a lot of fun to play, especially when the opponent doesn't know what's coming yet.^^Bloodseeker really seems like a fitting alternative to Falkenrath Noble, I'll keep that one in mind for sure when playing it some more.Still not sure about the Hunted Horror, though it's nice to see that you had good experience with it.The manabase is ofc the worst part about this. Fetches and Shocks would be nice but I don't have those and they're expensive. Therefore I stuck to the Temples which also help to get to the crucial enchantments, so not bad.Using 2 land less is something I have to try out! The mana costs ARE pretty low so it should work on pure amount but I feel getting the right colors could be harder. CURSE YOU, FETCHES, why must you be so expensive! :)Again, thanks for checking out this deck happy you like it! Maybe we can make this even better in the future. At some point I'm gonna work on a sideboard so I can surprise someone with a rogue build in a game event. :DCheers,Morty
Looks pretty good! Why do you need help?
That'll be it. I was wondering if there might be a plan to that choice but couldn't think of one. :)
