i'm impressed. i love dragons and rakdos is my guild, and i think you found a good balance in the cards. not sure if reanimate is necessary, cause your early game is almost nonexistent when you could have something like dragonspeaker shaman powering out dragons. plus bladewing gets your dragons back if they are killed. also furyborn hellkite seems underwhelming, i'd recommend bogardan hellkite for the added benefit of flash and targeted removal. also spread the sickness is easily outclassed by terminate (again, better early game), and you have better proliferate options in volt charge and grim affliction, although i think you could kill them with one sarkhan ult pretty consistently if you play the cards right, witch makes proliferate a little redundant. great outside the box thinking though +1

love the deck, +1. you might be running a little too many dragon mages, but with gauntlets, who gives a shit lol. i have a similar one that centers around trying to get tibalt to be more than a mediocre card. maybe you can draw some ideas from it: http://www.mtgvault.com/morgoth424/decks/tibalts-fiery-temper/
ahhh, standard dead man's ale. it works cause we have high priest of penance instead of vindicate. i would splash red for the vampire aristo and boros charm while your at it, just for the finishing power. +1
needs more dark rits/hymn to tourachs. otherwise, looks like a solid specter deck. +1
i agree about top, and beseech the queen is my favorite of the legacy legal tutors. thanks for your input!
thanks for your reply. i cant see myself taking out the captives as they are a kick ass one drop, and hunger of the howlpack might two for one me more often than not. also, i need to keep as much land as possible in this deck as it is a 65 card deck; but i like the wolf run idea. rampager helps me both as a big creature and a pump so i dont see myself taking them out for pillars. this deck isnt supposed to be competetive just a casual werewolf deck.
thanks for mentioning that, tbh i was just thinking the mondronen shaman is just better in a werewolf deck as it punishes your opponent for casting spells. on the flip side, i really like reckless waif, that one mana cmc keeps me on curve, i'll probably only take out one to negate late game top decks, its stronger than it looks.
thanks, pit fight is a little underwhelming when your werewolves aren't transformed
one sided wraths and misthollow abusale? love it. the otherworld atlases seem a bit out of place however. +1 for originality.
Nether void is on my list of cards i would get if i could set fire to benjamins. Unfortunately not at that point yet, glad to see some people actually play them still :)
terrible deck, no win con outside jace, gl getting that ult off.... i would cut the lotuses, you have to sacrifice it, gilded is soooo much better.... necropotence? seriously??? life for cards is NOT a good deal, much less life for mana, so cut the shock lands too.... oh and force of will is too much mana for a counterspell... i do like ancestral recall, forcing the opponent to draw cards synergizes with jace for a mill win con... overall, could be a good deck, but needs some shivan dragons or something to make use of all that mana.btw, LMAO +1
thanks, i really like the idea of mikaeus and geralf's messengers, i'm gonna try them out. as for the graveyard lhurgoyfs, i'm not a big fan of them. sure they have a chance to be really big, but i've only seen that mechanic successful on two cards, boneyard wurm and tarmogoyf, and one of them needs a lot of self mill to be relevent. as i dont intend to mill myself directly, using the recurring threats of bloodghast and gravecrawler is much more effective than putting all my eggs in one basket so to speak. i will double up on the pacts and magus, so i can have a more consistent board presence, and the reason i'm not going to drop snuff out is because of their usefullness when i am tapped out. a free doomblade is a free doomblade. and yes i will drop the demon, it's too gimmicky. as for indestructibles, i do have obliterator and my own indestructible in the lich, so they are critical for my game plan. that is also why i wont drop the liquimetal coatings, because they are so powerful with lich and magus. one last thing, assassins are awesome, but i dont need anymore creature kill, snuff out and magus are perfect at keeping my enemy's creature board light. thanks for the response, and i'm glad you like the deck!
let me know how it turns out
sorry i never got back to you, you commented on my legacy reanimator deck almost a year ago.i love the idea behind this deck, i really do. i agree with phoenix that phyrexian tower is a must have, such a good mana accelerator. and black market should be a four of instead of buried alive, the most you ever need to play of that card is 2. another suggestion i would have is maybe 2-3 culling the weak. a dark rit for 4 mana that you only have to sac a creature for is perfect for this deck. +1
man i love grixis control, its my favorite color combo--oh wait, i see a jace the mind sculptor*lifts gun to head*BLAM!!!in all seriousness, i love the deck. (except for jace) +1
one more suggestion, putting in a playset of carnophage/vampire lacerator will prove infinitely more useful than wall of blood ever will be, and to that effect you might want to consider moltensteel dragon as he can be played in a monoblack deck. also, in terms of spot removal, tendrils of corruption seems like a winner in this deck. props on snuff out as well, one of my favorite removal spells
i like it, a sweet reiteration on the suicide black deck, full of pet cards and just devestating creatures. i would take the giant scorpions out and add some hard removal because your deck is lacking any way to interact with problem creatures/evasive creatures. also, a playset of dark rituals are essential to any mono-black deck. adding sanguine bond can give you a nice combo outlet with exquisite blood as well :)overall though, the flavor is there, and that all that really matters in the end anyway. +1
I really wanna keep the interaction of B/R cards to maximize the power of ashenmoor liege and fists of the demigod, i love those cards so much, but i also wanna make it as blisteringly fast as possible, just like Rakdos would want it! any help is appreciated
beautiful. i appreciate a good grixis control deck. sorin's vengeance is a nice touch
sensei's divining top is much better than diabolic tutor. also, have you tried treacherous pit dweller? might be better than dragon imo
