I agree. 1v1 this kills it... It has pretty ridiculous speed (everything's so cheap!); though you'd probably run into some problems against blue but that's neither here nor there. I like your sideboard too.

PS I don't know who you play Magic with but everyone I've ever met that plays won't even play someone who has less than 60 cards. Why? Because 60 IS the minimum; having any less gives you an (unfair) advantage because you have less cards to worry about cluttering up what you want to pull (that's why so many people use thinning.) That being said about the slight unfair advantage, I can't really think of many decks that this would beat (except complete noobs). White rapes this. Blue especially rapes this. Black rapes as well. Green can rape it pretty easily.

Is this some kind of weird 52 card Red VS Red deck?

eh just tested it out, didn't seem to get them when I needed the majority of the time... still open to suggestions for how I could utilize Bloodthrone a little bit better. She definitely can help the cause but I just haven't seen her involved in the winning combos as often as others. Options are nice though.

I want to throw in Unnatural Predations so that if I have to, I can just trample through my opponent with an infinitely big Bloodthrone. This will give me another reliable win con., I just don't know if it's worth it. And if it is worth, what cards I should take out to make room. I could see possibly throwing 3 in? Any feedback would be appreciated!

- 1 Murderous Redcap
+1 Demonic Tutor

Having 4 Redcaps was a bit too much, seeing as he doesn't get nearly as much play time compared to the cheaper combo components. Very easy choice dropping 1 to complete the Demonic Tutor playset.

Nice call, I'm going to try those out for a bit. I like the advantage of going right to the battlefield, as opposed to "wasting" a draw (and risking extraction/mill of the card I need.) Also, Worldly Tutor forces you to reveal the creature that you're putting on top of your library... a little sketchy. I'd rather keep that information to myself so that there's not even a chance of someone hitting me with a godforsaken Tomb Scour or other such card after they see that I put Melira on top of my library lol

We shall see how this fairs! I have a good feeling about it...I'll admnit I'm a bit concerned with the CMC but all in all I think this will probably improve the odds of success.

Thanks again

That is just a tad bit too much land coming into play tapped if you ask me. I would think that your early game would suffer for that.. I would definitely replace the Jwar Isle Refuges with fetchlands (duh) or if you really really really don't want those in here then just good old fashioned swamps; you really don't need that 3 life and you have a ton of other dual lands for your blue/black needs. I used to use Refuge lands for a G/W deck I had and ALL they ever did was slow me down.

I would also use Preordains and Sign in Bloods, but that's just my personal taste...I want to burn through my cards as quickly as possible. Thinning is winning!

Other than that, this looks pretty fun to play. Once you start getting those big creatures out, it starts getting intense lol

Wow, what are you talking about? Vampire Lacerator, Kiln Fiend, and Chandra's Spitfire are all awesome cards, just when they're used properly. This deck is kind of a mash up of sorts, and I don't really see the Kiln/Chandra stack aggro being the best fit with Bloodcrank.

@Braindamage - If you're going to go Bloodcrank, you should at least have some tutors so you can get the pieces out easily. Sign in Bloods are an absolute must have for thinning. I run 4 Diabolic Tutors and 4 Sign in Bloods in my Bloodcrank, because they are all necessary. Also, some proliferate will help if you really want your Bloodchief to go off. Consider Volt Charge if you're going to go down this path. Once you have 1 quest counter, Volt Charge will give you the last 2 in 1 turn...not a bad deal. I myself use Tezzeret's Gambit in my deck, so as to thin my deck even further. It's B/W, but check it out.

Yeah I dropped 2 Nature's Spirals also so I could get 3ofs on those tutors. They were just slowing down the pace and if I play my cards out properly I won't really need them..

I'm feeling that swapping a Sign for another Demonic would probably work out fine but I think ultimately I'd rather thin my deck out by 2 cards for 2 mana than by 1 card for 2 mana. I'm obsessed with thinning as much as humanly possible haha and as far as the fetches go, I'm already thinning a good amount so I'd rather have the option of color that the Tombs can provide in a pinch. I really don't mind paying 2 life at all (cough Signs cough), it is a great turn 1 land drop.

But yeah man this deck can kill someone pretty quickly haha I'm digging it a lot

- 2 Hellspark Elementals
+ 2 Spark Elemental
+ 1 Mountain
+ 2 Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle
+ 2 Leylines of Punishment (2 more in your Sideboard)
+ 3 Seething Songs

Some things for your Sideboard would be 2 more Leylines, and 4 Combusts if you find yourself up against a blue and/or white player.

Boom 60 cards (why wouldn't you want it to be 60??)

Thanks for the feedback man. I change my sideboard up a bit because you're right, Revoke Existence is a little bit specific when what I need to concentrate on is getting my combo out as quickly as possible.

- Revoke Existence (2)
+Diabolic Tutor (1)
+Sign in Blood (1)

Sign in Blood is so good it makes me feel sick...in a good way. I already know some friends who I will throw in a few Revokes specifically for, but in general this will run much better now.

Ah I love b/u so much. So much pain!! Jace is a pretty awesome win condition, but you may have to protect him or speed him up a little more. Cathedral Membrane is a cheap effective wall for deterring ground attackers. You could also possibly put some more mill in here to have something else to rely on if Jace gets undone...you're going to be laying down pretty good suppression here, though. Another option is a nice big stompy guy to bust out after you've just completely wrecked someone's deck and left them defenseless i.e. Stormtide.

Thanks for commenting on my decks ! Happy building

Yeah this seems to be working out pretty consistently. I'm considering SBing those Revokes but they are nice to have in a pinch when someone has some uber-drop (or if I came across another Bloodchief Deck :-p). I'm going to have to mull this over...ahhh just when I thought I had it all squared away baha

I must completely disagree with you about never running fetchlands in mono decks....

Thinning is thinning, period. While it's not as useful persay as in a mutli-colored deck, it still get's land out of the way and gets you (ever so slightly) closer to the cards you need. It's also good to get your deck nice and shuffled up a bit (has always had a positive effect in my experience.)

The cost of one life is nothing to pay for the advantage that fetchlands give.

Put your Arid Mesas back in Xanooo!

Nice Persist, but you really should throw in Melira. I do absolutely love Oversoul of Dusk (none of my friends do haha), I wish I owned more than one!

Check out this crazy abuse of Melira and Persist I made recently, it's G/B as opposed to G/W, with tons of win conditions...

lol you would be correct sir! Two of my friends that I frequently play with use black and red, respectively. I simply drop the Purges and Lightwielder (for Safe Passages etc.) when I play the other few friends who dabble in white, green, and blue, and I still rape them almost 100% of the time. Fortunately none of my friends play pure extraction.... that gives me the shivers :o

Thanks for the feedback! It made me think a lot about some of my card selections.

I'm dropping the Blademaster (it pains me) because of his double white cost in favor of Pulse Trackers, which can help more quickly to get through with that crucial loss of 2 life.

Moriok Replicas are great for thinning, but they are far too expensive to be plausible. That's why I'm swapping Throne of Geth for Tezzeret's Gambit, so I'll have another way to thin AND can proliferate to speed up my combo. What I really liked about Throne was that it only cost 2, but all good Magic players know that thinning is winning...

Lightning Bolt > Volcanic Hammer or Rift Bolt.

Absolutely trade out either of those for Lightning Bolt...why would you pay more mana for the same thing? Other than that, you pretty much ran the gamut of burn lol

Very nice! I like the combination of black and red here...red is pretty crucial for getting that 2 damage minimum through. I can't really think of any improvements!

Please check out my black/white Bloodcrank, I would love some suggestions if anyone can think of any - although honestly I think it's pretty good. I'd love to use mine against this one to see who is faster lol
