Hmm ... I will keep looking. The lizard is a little weak.

Other than Sigiled Skink and Starfish, the only other 2 standard 2 drops that have scry are Omenspeaker and Battlewise Hoplite.

So ... should I use Fiendslayer Paladin, Oblivion Ring, or Knight of Meadowgrain? Which would you prefer less if you were facing this deck (I want to trade a 3 drop for a 2 drop to make the mana curve even lower).

Hmm ... mission parameters adjusted. Secondary target = Swarmer. Seriously, I suggest that we get to know him.

Oh, and I am getting real close to that simulator:

I found this on a Wizard's page ...

Well, she's only on duty when Kinsbaile Cavalier is in the main, or you want to show your black-playing buddy that there is a creature other than white knight that he can't Doom Blade.

Otherwise, it's Mirran Crusader's turn =).

Well, Northy makes the most decks ... period.

Also, he is specialized in insane things. I don't know swarmer very well.

Nice man. I Challenge you ... make a budget deck with at least 3 flip cards in it!

Serum Vison in place of one of your higher mana creatures? Just a thought.

O7 Good man Barracuda.

If you notice, most hot decks come from an inner circle (or, more appropriately, one of several groups of deck makers) on this site. Getting in touch with these guys (or gals) lets you get more likes and advice.

I didn't take your comments as overly critical at all. They are well-reasoned suggestions. Especially that circle of protection bit. That was really smart.

I just wanted to make a deck where Pentarch could feel at home. I hate to see cards with "no use" (unless they have been replaced by newer versions - this applies to burn and counter especially).

I always dislike it when innovative combos are shot down by the price of the cards they work well with. Doubling Season, e.j.

I will slim this deck down soon. Thanks again for your help.

Don't worry about it! I just needed to slim this deck down. Even if you were just talking about your preferences, you made this deck leaner and meaner. Nice work.

Nice deck! I would run Guttersnipe or Gelectrode in place of one of your 3 drops, but that's just me.

Agreed, but if I wanted to ramp, I'd play green ....

Wait! Angels need ramp. Land Tax, Knight of the White Orchard, Fastbond, etc.

Thank you for your input!

You are right, painter's servant is the best choice in terms of quality. In fact, if I could use him, I could use Northern Paladin instead (lower CMC, cooler art, etc.). Oh, and there's the HUGE advantage that lands have color, making them vulnerable.

I really want painter's servant ... but this is on a budget. Heck, even if it was not, I would still pack distorting lens for flexibility. I would drop Cloudchaser Kestrel.

You sir, are brilliant. Not only can circles of protection be used, but all manner of color specific spells. Thank you for the idea man!

If I didn't have access to a computer, how did I search for the site =). Seriously though, I really need to find it. Thanks for reminding me!

Say goodbye to that lone Caravan Escort. Kinsbaile Cavalier will go in the sideboard for Hero of Bladehold. I will keep Knight of the Holy Nimbus in reserve behind Accorder Paladin. Mr. Nimbus and the Cavalier will take on big creatures, the Hero and the Paladin can attack around them.

Knight of the Holy Nimbus is a tank. He can take on 3/3's without a scratch. Flanking wears down blockers over time, and makes him a real pain to block when he gets souped up. Even if he is killed, he has AUTO REGEN. That's insane. Not only is this guy regening, but he does it for free, and you better pay 2 to keep him dead. Add all that to his Human Knight Rebel status, and he is an amazing 2 drop. Compare him to Drudge Skeletons or White Knight.

Knight of the White Orchard has a pretty nice ability. One can not be mana screwed.
