Thank you.
Yeah, not as viable as Dreadnought/Orb in Legacy...but it is a neat idea.

If he becomes the target of spell or ability, if he is in play.
If he is on top of your library (because of Scry), and you use Cloudform to Manifest him face down, he keeps Cloudform when he is turned face up!!!

4/1 creature with flying and hexproof.

Futhermore...when you Manifest Frost Walker face down with Cloudform, while he is facing downward, you can pump him up full of enchantments:

Example.

Turn 3. Cloudform to enchant Frost Walker (use all the scry to make sure Walker is on top of library).
Turn 4. Eel Umbra and Ghostly Wings on your downfacing Frost Walker.
Turn 5. Turn Frost Walker face up for his mana cost.

Outcome= He keeps all the enchantments.
He is a 6/3 with flying, unable to be blocked, hexproof, and can be returned to your hand by discarding a card.

One more thing.
My wife loves Phoenix.
So I thought I would do a Phoenix Deck.

Here is what I have so far, when you are feeling better, care to take a look it?

It needs help in the artifact department, for sure.

Manifest Frost Walker using Cloudform.
And while he is faced down, pump him up with Enchantments like Aqueous Form.
Then turn him face up.
He gets to keep all the Enchantments.
Potentially he is 4/1 or bigger.

Swiftwing, Nighthawk, and Mirri in the same deck, nasty stuff!!!

Hey Northy, you ready for another challenge?

I would love to see a Frost Walker deck.
Built around 1) Manifesting him into play 2) Once he is faced downward pump him up with Enchantments 3) Ferocious mechanic

Added Frost Walker to the sideboard.
What do you think?
I think he could rock with something like Cloudform or Lightform.
Manifest him with Lightform to make him a 4/1 creature with lifelink and flying.

I want to build a deck around Jeskai Sage.

Question: How does Storm mechanic and Prowess mechanic work together?
I have been thinking about it...

If I have Jeskai Sage out on Turn 2.
I play Lightning Bolt followed up by Grapeshot on Turn 3.
What are Jeskai Sage stats?

Basically, what I am asking is: Does storm count toward prowess?

Will Jeskai Sage be a 4/4?

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I also want to build a deck around Frost Walker.
True, he can be nuked so damn easily.
But I like the idea of him triggering Ferocious so quickly!
Or the idea of Manifesting him with Lightform/Cloudform.
Or something like Master of Waves.
Your thoughts?

Yes, yes, yes, this is how Eidolon can be played.
So much potential with that little devil!

Very nice.
LOVE these types of decks. Where you nuke both yourself and your opponent.
Your stuff comes back/isn't as affected as your opponent's stuff.

I hate Ponders/Brainstorms because they are restricted/banned even though I NEVER play them with the cards that make them banned. Trying to keep it mono red, but will look into your suggestions when I get a little bit of time.

Congrats.
That is always good to hear.
I would rather lose against the best than win against the worst.
So it is great that you won a couple.

"just sit back and hate on everything and let them pump out your win."

What is nice is to do that with cards that most people associate with offense.
Example: Eidolon of the Great Revel

I have found myself making decks designed around the idea of using that card as a defensive way to win.
Either you run white protection sells like circle protections/creatures with protection from red/pyroclasm type spells OR you run Great Revel in a mono red deck with alternative casting cost spells like Fireblast and Pyrokinesis and back it up with Pyrostatic Pillar.

Speaking of, mind helping me out with a deck?

http://www.mtgvault.com/jessie/decks/929897/

It is just like I just described. I have 45 cards...I need helping deciding on the other 15 cards.
