...and it's people like this that make me not visit vault anymore. I feel ya s0rin. It's stupid
Spaaaaaaaaaaaam!!!!!!!!

That assuming the person is using lots of creatures. What happens if they are using storm? Or control? Those run very few creatures
You're asking if you should pot in more of the card you say make the deck better? Are...are you...kidding me?
No need. I'm casting everything on my turn anyways so what do I need it for? Its standard storm tactics. Plus I'm going to attack, so I need it to be my turn.
I'm far from an expert myself. I was just poking fun over the name but as far as price and effectiveness I'm being serious. I was simply offering some advice. I mean no offense
The deck costs less than $3. In this case yes, $25 is way over budget, and in this case it also hurts the deck speed wise
Budget and treasure hunt in the same sentence is redundant. And is hardly budget because of the extra cards you added, which also make the deck work less effectively
Ok so if those are the creatures you use, how do you get them when there is only a single copy of each and no way to search for them? Dumb luck doesn't get you far in magic
Yeah early game tends to be is weak point, that's why it's meant for kitchen table and not the pro scene. In that seeing it shines best
Just throwing this out there in case you didn't read it anywhere else, but this deck isn't meant to be competitive. It can hold its own though. Raz and I are friends, so I've been facing this deck a lot. It packs a punch
If it comes down to destroying something you control, then just make it target itself
i think mardu will fare better after zendikar 2.0 comes out, especially if we see lots of sexy vampires :3
Yeah molten vortex is great. I especially like the new puedo lightning bolt. My issue is finding a place in my burn deck mining and vortex. I could probably cut a creature or two from my limited number of them lol
you should've clarified that. it looks you were saying that hero's blade was a staple
See that is why I like the card myself. It's going to make me lose if you leave it be and all they have to do is be ready to stop any backup plan I might have for it. But as a die-hard rakdos player myself, if you aren't willing to take the risk for the reward, then shut up and hide behind your counterspells like a punk. Also, love aggressive mining. Might actually look into adding it to my modern burn as a one of and see how it goes
For starters, mardu charm is amazing in a pinch. Second, he already has crackling doom in here. It's balanced just fine at 3 each.
He doesn't have to donate or destroy it. All he has to do is drop merchant before he has to force a loss and he wins. It is a devotion deck after all
