it is probably my favorite elf i think. it is an elf riding a f**king t-rex! you can not get more badass than that! :D
the crucible is just in case i want to sac some of my own lands for a buffer. i sac other players' lands to the zuran orb, that is why this deck is infamous. i steal all your lands, use them to pay for huge multikickers or something, and then sac them all to zuran orb. :D

zoo is a type of aggro deck that used dual lands to abuse a number of creatures that got boosts from other lands such as kird ape, loam lion, etc. since the original deck had lions, apes, and (i think) bears, it was called zoo. this is a pretty standard zoo really.

i could post it i suppose. sol ring and sensei's diving top are 2 auto-inclusions. another word of advice: in edh anything that allows for repeat uses is powerful.

:O

that's the general i use! he kicks ass in edh. probably a third of most players decks will be shut down because of him. a deck built around him is also fast and versatile which is deadly in edh.

don't use maralen, don't be that guy come on. :(

it would not really mess up the jump at all, but i also do not really need it. with skullclamp and tokens, i can draw cards forever and taking out those 2 cards to have a way to find them is a catch-22 you know? :|

i am happy that you like it though and thank you for commenting! :)

oh i caught it. :P

in any token deck the 5 land package of 3 oran-reif, the vastwoods and 2 gaea's cradle is magical. with gaea's cradle in play 9 mana is laughably easy to get. 'expensive' in a token deck with gaea's cradle is more around 14 or 15

i have gotten beastmaster active as early as turn 4 i think, so pretty fast.

because this is mostly aggro i have rarely had any concerns with the legend rule. players tend to try and kill my legends quickly after i tell them what they do, so it is nice to have spares. :P

to add to that, i always have infiltration lens on the side if someone does not want me to play with skullclamp.

talara's battalion is not as good as wren's run vanquishers in the deck. with bramblewood paragon, one is a 4/4 with deathtouch and trample, and the other is a 5/4 with more trample. the choice was obvious to me. :) i thought about vangaurd but it was not as useful as any of the other 2 drops, same thing with jagged-scar, but for the 3 drop spot.

thank you for commenting. :)

for a first attempt you did a good job i think. :) Sylvan ranger is not very good, so you might want to look for something else. you have a lot of creatures, but i do not think you have quite enough to safely use 4 khalni hydras. you could easily use 2 of them though. harrow is always a good choice for fast mana ramping and a lot of deck thinning. you should have 4 of primal bellow over any of your other pumps. it really is that good, especially with harrow pushing out a lot of forests very quick. garruk's packleader is not that great, and in your deck will hardly draw you any cards, so maybe take those out and put in 2 more elfs. :)

it needs to have threshold active in order to become the 8/8. the majority of my spells have flashback. the time it would take to get threshold is just too slow to be useful. :)

sadly skullclamp is banned in legacy. :| manamorphose is an essential storm fueling card, so i will not take that out. i might take out dryad arbor though. as a land it only can be played once a turn, so it is not as strong for storm. i will make some more changes though, because you did give me a few ideas. :)
