lol, Phyrexian Soulgorger can be Force of Savagery 5-8 :p

I saw an interesting trick with Cream of the Crop and Force of Savagery (Phyrexian Souldgorger can work too) that basically sets up your next draw... Thinking on it now, Keeping in RG, I can drop some of the less impressive creatures to include Cream of the Crop and Wheel of Sun And Moon to keep looping them. Might even work in a few Wild pair for good measure.

Any other BIG power, kills self, cheap creatures you can think of?

In the end, the choice is yours. I can only give my personal opinion

Ya, every step of the Challenge's effects is optional.

This is actually my 4th (or is it the 5th) design. The previous one had 2 Brooding Saurian in addition to the flickers, but this design drops them in favour of taking the easier to cast (without cheating in) Wurmcoil Engine up to 4x.

How attached are you to the counterspells? Them and Steady Progress are the only slots I can see that could afford to lose a few numbers, but that could be because I'm not that big on blue.

A Prey Upon is one way to trigger Hunger of the Howlpack. Morbid triggers for any creature dying, not just your own. The last counter coming off Vigean Hydropon or Scrounging Bandar will allow the Morbid to trigger too.

A mix of Evolving and Growth Chamber could help too. Are there any Revolt cards that would fit here?
*Does a Gatherer search*
Nope, none that are worth it. How about other Morbid cards?
*Refines Gatherer search*
Meh, none of them are really worth it either.

*FNM 12 May 2017:
Small turnout tonight, only 3 rounds.

Round 1 vs RDW: Win 2-0
Game 1: Opponent gets me down to 5 before I found My first Obstinate Baloth. He only saw 5 lands (1 was a fetch) I saw 2 Molten Rain, a Goblin, and Acid-Moss with enough acceleration to play them each turn starting turn 2. Won via Goblin.
Game 2: I was able to destroy all 3 his lands every turn and won with Kitchen Finks and Chandra.

Round 2 vs Tron Tooth and Nail: Win 2-0
Both games I kept him off his Tron pieces, which kept him from casting Tooth and Nail. I won via Goblin game 1 and after a double land destruction in one turn on game 2, he conceded.

Round 3 vs Lanturn Control: Win 2-0
Game 1: Kept him at 0 lands and won via a Goblin.
Game 2: Sided in Destructive Revelry, Creeping Corrosion, and Ancient Grudge and took out Mizzium Mortars. He only managed to get 1 Codex Shredder and 1 Pyxis of Pandemonium out with the Lantern before my Dragon killed him. He did make some odd moves in this game, like milling my Destructive Revelry instead of exiling it and letting me draw a goblin (Which I used to kill Ensnaring Bridge), letting me draw a dragon (Despite having Sun Droplet to prolong the game), and casing a second Inquisition when he should have known I was only had land in hand.

Hunger of the Howlpack is a nice instant for a quick, yet permanent boost. Works nicely with Simic Initiate killing itself via the Graft ability.

Speaking of Graft, Aquastrand Spider makes for a good sideboard against flying heavy decks.

Forced Adaptation gives a steady supply of +1/+1 counters. Putting this on Vigean Hydropon can give a constant supply of Graft. It also makes Bioshift that much more potent.

Something that I've been running in all my Pauper builds lately is Quicksand at 2-3 copies, depending on the deck. The -2 to toughness kills a lot of creatures in the format, and brings a lot of others into killing range.

A set of Evolving Wilds or Terramorphic Expanse wouldn't hurt either.

Another thing I've noticed being done that's starting to annoy me is people are listing the deck public while they're still adding cards, description, etc. This results in me commenting on something they where going to do anyway, wasting time for both of us.

Firstly, filling out the Description and / or How to Play sections helps others with what direction you're trying to go with your deck. It'll also help me give more constructive suggestions, rather than just asking questions.

Dubious Challenge has a major flaw: the opponent chooses first. You have already worked around that the best way I could find, with Flickerwisp and Glimmerpoint Stag. While I know how this works, telling others via the Description and / or How to Play would be nice.

I see the point of Groundbreaker, but not Force of Savagery. Unless you're using it as a bad card the opponent won't choose to trigger Cream of the Crop. Again, a Description would help.

Sakura-Tribe Scout does exactly what Skyshroud Ranger does, but isn't limited to your turn. Normally won't make much difference, but there are cases where it will, like the opponent attacking with Goblin Guide or casting Expedite on it just to draw a card (I've seen this happen multiple times).

Not your fault drumhead21. In fact, I should be the one apologising. I'm generally a chill guy and very tolerant, so_maro90 just happened to hit one of the few things that sets me off. Sorry.

Been a fan of Paradox Haze since it was printed. Sadly, I've never been able to make a deck with it that I am satisfied with. Point is, it's always at the back of my mind, so when I see upkeep related things, I look to see if Paradox would fit.

The ability of Jori En, Ruin Diver can be difficult to grasp correctly as most people don't read the card correctly. Or at least this is my experience with newer players.

You could possibly include Runechanter's Pike; Spellheart Chimera; or Enigma Drake as a finisher. (I've not checked the prices on these yet).

Proliferate is good with As Foretold, but we shouldn't forget that it's Time counters, so cards like Timebender and Timecrafting from the Time Spiral block work with it too. Also, As Foretold puts a counter on itself during your upkeep, so Paradox Haze can help speed it up.

Aether Vial is actually a brilliant addition as you don't cast the creature it puts in, thus not triggering / triggering the transformation of most of the Werewolves. Nice.

I am a little concerned about the lack of interaction with the opponent's stuff. Even just a set of Lightning Bolt can go a long way. And with Vial out, you need not worry about the Bolt causing a transformation.

I didn't mean it was a bad idea, just pointing out that it's an optional search. Heck, if the opponent knowa what's happening and still searches, it basically advertises that he has something in hand that he definitely needs to play.

Sadly, the search is optional. Sure, you'll catch the opponent once, but unless is thick as a doorknob, he'll happily not trigger the trap.
