What about adding (even if only to the sideboard) some Pyroclasm? 2 damage to each creature is nice for taking out swarms and can help get Putrefax through.

Nice idea. My friend runs a similar deck, except it's (in my opinion) better. He uses the Kamigawa creature that turns into an enchantment that counters the first spell played by an opponent each turn and combo's that with another card that says only one spell can be played a turn.
I also run a lockdown deck that is (again, in my opinion) better. I named it after one of the main cards in the deck "Mists of Stagnation". With this deck, everything my opponent plays comes into play tapped and never untaps ever again :p

I'd like to see this just once- Tap Decimator Web to mill, etc. then tap Valtaic Key to untap the web and tap the web again.

I forget the name, but there's a black enchantment that can enchant a creature or land and when the enchanted permanent becomes tapped, it destroys it and that permanent's controller may then put the enchantment on another creature or land. It costs about 5 or 6 mana.

I like the idea. As for help, the only thing I can think of is to change your dual lands. The black blue dual land from Shadowmor (I can't think of the name at the moment) is in my opinion the best dual land for any blue black deck (the same for any of the other dual coloured decks. I just love the Shadowmor / Eventide dual lands)

A nice creature (though probaly a litte expensive mana wise) for bouncing creatures is the blue white witch from Shadowmoor (I think it's called Mistmeadow Witch). Also I'm surprised that you don't have Rite of Replication in the deck, it's awesome in any ally deck (especially when kicked) :p

A card that works nicely with ninjas that came out in the same set as them is Veil of Secrecy. It especially works well imprinted on Iscron Scepter (I may have spelt that wrong, I'm not sure). And it's return a blue creature ability to splice onto arcane is quite nice too, you just need an arcane to splice onto :p

DEBT is a nice way to remember it, but I'm sure global effects will still work. eg: Day of Judgement will still destroy prot. white creatures and I do belive Pyrohemia's effect is global.

I could be wrong, but because Pyrohemia doesn't target, creatures with prot red will still be dealt damage by Pyrohemia's ability.

If you don't mind adding white, a nice enchantment to put on Spitemare is Indestructibility.
Braid of Fire's cumulative upkeep is a nice source of free mana to pump into Pyrohemia.
Molten Firebird is a nice way to keep Pyrohemia on the battlefield.

I'd replace at one Darksteel Myr with a Darksteel Colossus and 4x Mountain with 4x Seething Song.

Elvish Piper isn't as good as most people think. Because it tells the opponent you're going to put in a BIG creature next turn (or this if you some how give it haste), the opponent will counter it, burn it, destroy it or exile it. I think it'll be better to use a spell that allows you to put it from your hand and / or deck into play. Green Sun's Zenith and Wild Pair are two cards that do this nicely.

I used "/" instead of the word "or". So I meant 2x Stuffy or 1x Stuffy + 1x Souls or 2x Souls.

I think the lands should be good as is.

I'm honoured that you choose my deck as one of your main decks :D

I've played this deck often and it works just as I wanted, so I wouldn't be sure what to take out for those cards but I'd try the following if I had the cards:

For 2x Gideon, I'd take out 2x Stuffy Doll / 1x Stuffy and 1x Souls of the Faultless / 2x Souls of the Faultless.
For 4x Darkness - 4x Holy Day.
For 2x Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs - 2x Stuffy Doll / 1x Stuffy and 1x Souls of the Faultless / 2x Souls of the Faultless.

Not sure. I made this with cards I had / traded for. I'd say that the most expensive cards would be the rare lands and maybe Stuffy.

Ok, I too suggest adding 2 Rhys the Redeemed. I use him in my elf token deck and to help pay for the ability to duplicate tokens, I use Heritage Druid.

A friend runs a green and white wolf deck with Knighthood for first strike and Wren's Run Packmaster for deathtouch. He also uses Runed Stalactite to either turn a wolf into an elf to be championed by the Packmaster or to turn the Packmaster into a wolf to gain deathtouch :p

Having the minimum cards possible increases the chances of drawing what you need sooner. Same reason for running multiple copies of the same card.
