Honestly this is the first time I looked at that sideboard :p I'd put the ORings mainboard (too powerful to leave in side). I'm also wonder what "target player" spells you're afraid of? (ie the reason for putting Orbs in your side) I don't see any "enters the battlefield" abilities (other than the Champion), so Cloudshift looks useless to me. So, ja, the Orbs and Cloudshift can be removed for the Bombs. Don't forget you can kill bigger things with the Bombs (I've actually done that before), but also be careful of adding counters to them once they're in play as it could kill your stuff too (though sometimes that's a necessary sacrifice). Lastly, don't forget about spells with Phyrexian Mana symbols (like Surgical Extraction or Dismember).

Hmmm... I never check what the "Top decks" are, so it'd be a some research before I can give what I'd think would be good for the sideboard, but I've yet to go wrong with my 3 Ratchet Bombs :p Going by what I've seen played by top players in my group: Against decks with Snapcaster Mage, Surgical Extraction or Nihil Spellbomb help. These also work against any graveyard based deck. Grafdigger's Cage also helps with this. Swarm decks die to Day of Judgment or Ratchet Bomb. Stony Silence prevents opponents Ratchet Bombs from going off and prevents equipping of Swords. Hope that helps.
Ok, from what I see, you are going for a landfall theme. Here's a few cards I can think of that'd help achieve that: The expensive ($) rout: Sacred Foundry March Flats Arid Mesa Scalding Tarn The cheap a** ($) rout: Boros Garrison Evolving Wilds Terramorphic Expanse These lands allow for multiple landfall triggers in one turn (even in the opponent's turn in some cases). Other cards to consider for landfall: Wayfarer's Bauble Explorer's Scope Searing Blaze Other "Boros" cards to consider: Rally the Peasants Boros Fury-Shield
Ask your brother to choose one combo and then build a deck on just that combo. Having multiple combos in one deck turns it into the chaos I see above that doesn't work at all.
Sideboards are a problem, they depend on the meta of your play group. My groups' meta is largely agro, so our sideboards often contain extra creature removal.
Not much more I can suggest. I'd try keep the casting cost of my spells to 3 or less (more if needed for specific cards, like Gisela), but that's just the way I would run this type of this deck.
One of each land should do. As for what to take out for the Rally, hmmm... I feel the more mana expensive spells are slowing this deck down (the angel too), so I'd cut them for the Rally's and to increase the number of the good humans (like a 4th Silverblade Paladin or more Kessig Malcontents) or to ass in a set of Shock. Shocks are good for killing a Delver before he transforms or that Llanowar / Bird so the opponent doesn't out pace you. (Instant speed is awesome)
If you'd like, I can ask the owner of the deck I mentioned I have to face regularly to give me her deck list to show you.
Doesn't work anymore? How? You should see the mono black infect I have to face every week, it's too well oiled :| My whole group has something in their sideboards just for that deck.
Wee Dragonaughts
Firstly, way too many cards, try cut it down to 60 cards. Second, too many 1x and 2x, try removing cards not necessary to increase the number of important cards. Lastly, I personally prefer Door of Destinies over Coat of Arms, but that's just personal preference.
Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker and Grave Pact are two cards you may want to look into, also Kami of False Hope and Sakura-Tribe Elder mite be nice additions.
Crypt of Agadeem mite help pay for Phage.
I think you should reduce each Nephilim to 3 each so as to add Prismatic Omen and some land search. PS. I once designed a Nephilim deck, you should check it out: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=117670
The Myojin seem out of place here. I suggest removing them to add 2 or 3 Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker, a set of Grave Pact and a sacrifice outlet (I like Thoughtpicker Witch). Also looking into other creatures with power 1 that do stuff when they die would work nicely (Kami of False Hope and Sakura-Tribe Elder come to mind).
I'd run at least 2 more Clifftop Retreat and try to work in a set of Rally the Peasants. Hmmm... this almost makes me want to make a RW human deck myself :?
As nice as those cards are, I'm not trying to make a small creature BIG, I'm trying to do direct infect damage to the opponent via activations of the Lash (the equipped creature does the damage, not the lash), so I need cheap mana spells to target my creature with and hence my choices.
You got a point. Change made. Thanks :p
Hope you don't mind, I posted a modified version of this deck http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=335874
Traitorous Demon will work well with the Orb too and looking at your build, Fling and Bonesplinter mite be nice too.
