It is a lot of fun, but slow. Mutilate outdoes Damnation here as it even kills creatures that are Indestructible and / or have Regenerate.

Holy crap, you guys necro'd one of the oldest, if not the oldest version of this deck. I've actually made a LOT of changes to the initial idea and even use it in Modern from time to time, just for fun. Current version can be found here:

I've yet to test this deck, but I have been playing a GW token deck that uses the Midnight Guard + Presence of Gond combo, but that one's not all in on that combo and often wins off Saprolings from Sprout Swarm more than the infinite combo.

Here's the funny part, I already own Preordain, but 0 Brainstorm.

Trace of Abundance gives the enchanted land Shroud and the ability to tap for additional mana. But Shroud means it must be the last aura on Dryad Arbor and doesn't work at all with Arbor Elf at all. Greater Auramancy has a similar no targeting problem with Arbor Elf.

Alpha Authority gives the enchanted creature Hexproof.

Swiftfoot Boots gives the equipped creature Hexproof and Haste. Meaning it can protect the combo and gives Tentacrule / Ulamog haste.

Privileged Position gives all your stuff (excluding itself) Hexproof.

Gift of Paradise as a 1 of would give you a mana acceleration aura that Drift of Phantasms can Transmute into.

In case Blood Moon is a thing where you are, a few more basic Forest wouldn't hurt. Utopia Sprawl and Arbor Elf can only target Forests.

Grove and Fiery Justice are great cards. Going 4 colours would also open up Heroes' Reunion; Healing Leaves (the green Healing Salve); and Stream of Life. But doing all of this requires a complete overhaul, and maybe I will at a later stage, but for now, my attention has been going towards Standard and whether or not Bloodbraid Elf will work in Ponza.

Sadly, that too isn't Modern legal

They resolve around two very different Epic spells so their win conditions are also different. This one can do a lot more once active, while the other makes the opponent do a lot less. Personally, I think they're both good, but neex a lot of work to make them great.

I don't have much experience with RU, but it looks like a sound idea. Multiple reduction + mana ramp spells = a huge value for {X}, so storming sounds like a good way to win.

All good options.

When in doubt, check Gatherer. Vault's got a few bugs and Swords seems to be one of them.

Enduring Ideal, fetches Enchantments, isn't bad either. Just need to build your enchantment package to be pretty good.

A lot of Ponza decks rely on those sweepers, but I can see a build like yours just out valuing the opponent, thus making Bloodbraid worth more. Other builds, mine included, do not want the randomness hitting things like their sweepers. I've been reading a lot of opinions on it and I now understand the reasoning of both sides of the argument a little more. It has a place in certain variations, but not in others. I may test it in mine, but doubt I'll keep it in. It's still a good card in other RG / RGx decks, so still worth acquiring.

First casting, if big enough, can also pick out all / most of what could kill you / Paradox Haze.

Paradox Haze is a must, getting extra Epic triggers every turn is awesomesauce

Bloodbraid Elf might be worth consideration too. All the <4 cards are good.

I like the addition on a single Amulet of Vigor.
Maybe 23-24 lands? We need all our land drops and basics for the turns before Blood Sun / Amulet.
Maybe 1-2 of each in colour bounce lands seeing how we have a full set of Expedition Map.
Sadly, Green Sun's Zenith is banned in Modern. Summoner's Pact could be a nice replacement.
Some Gearhulks could be worth consideration.
1 Sun Titan main with 2 more sideboard? It's our answer to enchantment / Artifact hate.
2-3 of each other Titan, with Zenith / Pact getting us Primeval / Mimic.
