too many creatures for delver perhaps adding more instants and/or sorceries

i know thats why the SB exists
first off, gelectrode isn't standard i'd replace it with blistercoil weird. replace archeomancer with snapcaster mage (if you have the funds/tradefodder to do so) and finnally i'd add 2 talrand sky summoners drop 2 islands 26 lands is wayyy too much. i'd also drop a mizzium and a cyclonic rift and finnally a thunderous wrath for 3 think twices it gives you more damage through early game as well as some card advantage. i think its safe to assume your semi new to the game soo take in some of the advice i'm giving to you. decks usually want to run 24 lands because you don't want to get mana flooded (stuck in a situation where you have too much mana and for some reason keep drawing mana.) your decks mana curve seems a little high thats why you should have thunderous cyclonic and mizzium as a 3 of and add some think twices soo you can do more damage early game.
i like it seems solid. but i would add a sideboard for the mirror match because pod is a popular deck in modern perhaps linvala or a harmonic sliver which i think would be the best option because its more accessible to pod as well as it targets artifacts and enchantments as well as non creature artifact destruction in case you play against torpor orb aggro. which is a very solid deck as wel. anyway check out my standard golgari fightclub deck ^_^
why arent you running path to exile? drop incinerate for them it costs 1 less mana it exiles ny creature and you can target ur own stuff if ur getting mana screwd also why arent you runnin more dual lands? you have a whole plethora of them to choose from. heres some to think about- filter lands (cascade bluffs?) fetchlands (arid mesa, scalding tarn) you have to run shocklands if you run fetchlands to put them to their full efficency . hope this helped check out my retraced memories deck its modern too nd could use a tweak thnx
I would replace the wild nacatl with kird ape, but thats just me :P its essentially the same thing almost, but it does do the same thing jus a different color (still fits color scheme ;D) anyway it looks extremely solid, i've been wondering what a zoo deck was, and now i know xD soo thanks for that umm idk what other advice to give ya buddy check out my standard dragons, my modern valakut or any of my other decks i appreciate any help you can offer i always enjoy getting someones 2 cents ya know ^_^
It is actually not that hard to achieve triple black with this deck plus who doesnt want a 5/4 flyer who's PT doubles everytime it gets through (Thundermaw cough) and end up having a 10/9 and a 8//8 Flier turn 5? its a good card shes fine as a random 1 of
looks quite solid, i do enjoy the deck perhaps add tribute to hunger to your SB it gets around hexproof as well as gains you life. i'd add some thought scour's as well just because its turn 1 instant speed mill/draw maybe add some detention spheres to sb in place of sever the blood line it costs a lot less and it does the exact same thing. other than that i wouldn't change much. check out my standard Dragons http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=405492
knight of glory perhaps, it gets around removal, it also pumps your creatures and in g/w aggro a little goes a long way. i'd also add Gavony Township, its practically required in this build lol xD i mean seriously it pumps all your weenies your getting and then when you need blockers you can pump them some more in response to blocks? which is quite handy, umm also find a spot for ajani, at least a 1 of the most you'll be doing with him is his +1 and -3 abilities which will win you some games. anyway thats all i've got other than that its quite solid Check out my standard Dragons! http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=405492
I thoroughly enjoy the deck, it seems like it could be decent, i'm curious to see how it plays. i do like the CMC ratio though it has 1 drops 2 drops 3 drops 4 drops an up xD so you can be playing something each turn. which seems like its quite useful. all i would probobly add Rakdos Keyrune, maybe to your sideboard, i know it sounds like its not good advice but think about it a 3/1 first striker that doesnt die to board wipe that also adds you mana one of the top players at my local shop runs mostly black control and it wins him games all the time. it works as a very agressive blocker as well as a good beater too. soo yea i'd consider that. umm as for Sb I'd add duress just because its quite handy against the control matchup soo ya know you can turn 1 blood crypt take 2 dmg play duress get rid of their counter turn 2 play a dragonskull summit and 2 vexing devils :D anyway. other than that the deck looks quite solid. mind checking out my standard Dragons that are actually quite effective! http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=405492
i'd tap that ;D Drop Killing Wave add either Mutilate or Cyclonic Rift do you really need cremate? i'd replace it with more removal. the best way for control to work is just to have as much control as possible SUCH AS lots. and lots. AND LOTS of spot removal and board wipe. every other card should essentially be counters and draw power Drop 2 increasing confusion. since its U/B control you should be able to pump out enough draw power in the game to get it as your win con. in its place add more spot removal like murder's perhaps? ANyway to sum it up Drop -2 cremates -2(or 1) Increasing confusion's -2 Human Frailty -3 cancel -2 killing wave -1 swamp -1 Island Add +X Snapcaster Mage's They're practically mandatory for control decks. +2 Mutilate +3(or 4) Murder +3 Dissipate +3 Forbidden Alchemy +2 Nephalia Drownyard And finnally for your sideboard! ADD +2 Tribute to Hunger +3 Graf Diggers Cage +2 Sever the Bloodline +2 Mutilate (yes including the ones that should be mainboard) +3 Vampire Nighthawk +3 Duress check out my Standard Dragon Tribal deck... that somehow works effectivly o_o http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=405492
awesome deck, really really really op tho too much creature control... which is just what standard hates about this deck. -_-
i've had to play this deck its annoying as hell. very solid build annoying again. i've beaten it a couple times but man it took some very good draws to do it i mean seriously this is got to be one of the most OP decks there is aside from the one deck it doesn't want to play is a deck heavy in control. like FoW's and daze etc. which is why he should add idk. a cavern of souls anyway good deck ^_^s
Thanks ^_^
Thanks ^_^ i figured he deserves it lets advertise and get as many people as possible to thank and fallow him hes earned it
Drop 1 ghoul tree add another charm or add another slitherhead Sry i cant give u much advice but read this please http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=390640
ALSO DONT FORGET TO ADVERTISE THIS SOO WE CAN GET IT ON THE FRONT PAGE
Thanks For Everything Gary! ^^
Learning from Winning/Losing Isn't the point i'm trying to make. the point is more along the subject of how to build a solid deck and identifying good cards and how use solid cards at their maximum capacity
i still don't understand why sands of time isn't on here -_-
