no problem. make shure to tell me how it works for you. =)

i really like this deck, but it is way too slow. to speed it up, you'll have to step away from your beloved spawn and more toward ramp. drop 2 artisan, 2 broodwarden, an awakening zone, a spasm, a predator and a hatcher for 4 birds of paradise, 2 harrow and 2 beasmaster ascention/raid bombardment. also, if you're looking to REALLY speed the deck up, drop the rest of the artisans, all 4 rootbound crag, a splinter twin and an awakening zone for 4 overgrown battlements. hope i helped!
yes i could. but then i would run into many situations where deathspore would be stuck in my hand, and the deck would no longer be a stompy deck, because stompy is mono green. trust me, if there was a way to fit deathspore in, it would be in. how i love that decaying funjus
To be honest, i completely agree with your thoughts on vitaspore and germinator. vitaspore is in here for 2 reasons: he is a 2 cost fungus w/out defender, and because he gives mycoloth haste. though i could have sworn i'd put in only 2.... as for germinator, he is also one of my least favorite fungi. he was in here simply because he is a budding fungus at 3 cmc, though now that i think about it, i should swap him for thorn Thallid...... i'll do that right away. garruk would be good, but at 4 cmc his ramp isn't terribly relevant. then again, he is a planeswalker. i swear i had might of masses in here. Where the hell did it go!? and i dont remember putting in devourer. i must have accedentaly hit him when i was seardching for a different thallid... dam, i was making this deck WAY to early in the morning. :) SO, here's the changes you've realized i should make: -1 vitaspore, -2 germinator, -1 devourer, +2 thorn thallid, +2 might of masses. but i've still got to find a place for garruk.... if you see one, do tell. Thanks for the comment!
oh, and speeking of stompy, i have 3 decks that i beleive may be stompy, though i'm not shure. would you mind confirming/dismissing these "Stompys"? http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=163480 http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=184373 http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=191678
yes. "use this ability once each turn." so use it during their turn, then it's their turn again, which is a new turn. so you can use it again.
glimpse of nature = WIN.
DEMIGOD OF REVENGE?! just sayin'.
....this gets me angry, because it's a fungus deck that works, yet has non elf cards that dont have perfect synergy. Congratulations, you've ripped physics. now, on a more serious note, like all fungus decks you should probably add atleast a splash of black for deathspore thallid, or maybe saddistic hypnotist (who is becoming one of my favorite black creatures of all time), and of course, thealon of havenwood, who will make your fungi smash harder than your beasts. and if there's space, overwhelming stampede?
validation FTW.
why thanks a buch! your aproval of a deck is just about the highest praise i can get. =)
u no, to be honest, broodwardens would be terrible in this deck. mainly because overwhelming stampede (which i'm looking to put in) is a game ender, and has the same cmc, making it much better. because broodwardens aren't game enders, their high mana cost is their main dissadvanage. yah, it's possible to drop them turn three, but most likely you'll be saccing your one spawn from nest invader to do so. when it comes down to it, when broodwarden would hit the field i would only have 1 or 2 if any spawn out, which simply isn't overpowered enough to be included. but thanks for the comment.
every time i see glinthawk idol i facepalm, but otherwise i like this alot. i'd suggest either porcelain legeonare or steel overseer instead of the idol. maybe a myrsmith? and i'm tempted to suggest a splash of black for painsmith and dark tutalage...
inkmoth nexus is out of place and unneccisary. this deck looks pretty good and very fun. i'd suggest -4 glint hawk idol, +4 steel overseer. phyrexian revoker should be in sideboard, not mainboard. i'd suggest swapping it out for porcilain legeonare. otherwise, looks pretty awesome. but you should splash either black or red -- red for whipflare and galvanic blast, or black for Painsmith and dark tutalage, maybe even death's shadow. Hope i helped!
actualy, not really. worst comes to worst, it's a weeny exalted deck.
if you want speed, drop 3 forest, 3 swamp, your broodwardens and your rampant growths for 1 misty rainforest, 1 marsh flats, 4 verdant catacombs, 4 lotus cobra, and three harrow. that should speed the deck up a few turns. also, you should drop the grasps for 2 go for the throat. you can use a spawn to make them cost less, and they can hit more creatures. i also want to suggest sadistic sacrement over memorcide, cause if you can kick it, which this deck can, not only can you grab removal but you can also grab any threats they might have. oh, and if you dont want to do my land swap suggestion, atleast do -2 swamp, -2 forest, -3 broodwarden, +4 cloutpost, +3 primeval titan. Hope i helped!
there are a number of reasons why i'm running fetch lands. first and foremost, read bloodghast. ya, that should explain why i'm running fetchlands galore. second is mana fixing, and third is deckthinning. the measly one life, as you've said, doesn't really matter, and considering i'll be using that to sack bloodghast again, it's a fare assumption that i'm paying one life to deck thin, give bloodthrone +2/+2 or scrying one, and possibly grabbing an extra 3/3 token from fresh meat. yes, it is 100% worth it. you say fetchlands dont produce mana. your right. but they imediatly become basic lands, which do. so i dont see what you're trying to get at. now, onto the tempest lands. the tempest lands, first of all, come into play tapped. considering this is agro, that already means they're out. secondly, their cycling is for 2. 2 for draw a card!? no thanks, i'd rather through in the black or green whisps any day. but even then, why 2? there are better cycling lands, such as tranquil thicket and barren moor. once again, they come into play tapped, and therefore are not going into this deck. Now, onto the 3rd reason those lands aren't going in the deck. Legality. this deck is Type 2, or standard. it only uses cards from m11, Scars, and Zendicar expantions. so no matter how you slice the cake, those lands are absolutely TERRIBLE in this deck. but thanks for the comment.
i likes the new changes ALOT. looks much faster and much more agressive. maybe abyssal prosecuter? ;)
i likes it. being multicolor without dipping in obliterator's playability is always awesome. it's deffinately got alot of control, but you cant do much about that in standard. the only things i would like to see would be another fo for the throat or two, and another memorcide. unfortunately, your list is really tight, and idk what you should take out. oh, and welcome to the front page.
i agree with mcmuffinman. also, drop sword of war and peice to sideboard. against some decks it is absolutely useless, and it doesn't look like you're planning on having a large hand by turn four anyway.
