Yup, Exactly. Just to make it a dirt cheap killer ....I get bored easily. But i bet you already figured that out :)

It means that im introducing the game to as many people as possible, and teaching the ones who already know about it how to do better. Where i live is VERY Rural....My home town has a population of 94 people. Only about 30% of us even have the internet. I lived in Seattle for a while, and played against a bunch of Tournament players, who were absolutely amazing...So i came back to Arkansas with a whole new love of the game, over 90k cards to my name, and a vastly improved skill set. Now im trying to get as many people as i can to understand, appreciate, and play MTG.....Eventual if i get enough people, im hoping for a Gaming League, or maybe i'll become a DCI Judge and host my own events.
If you are looking to buy Singles, go to tcgplayer.com, thats where i get them. Overrun right now is selling for less than 50 cents each, with shipping a little less than that. I buy ALL my decks there....The have this neat little Optimizer thing that will make absolute sure you are getting the card at the lowest price available. I've spent a couple thousand dollars there over the last 3 years or so....and i have maybe 35-40 decks. I've even sold some of the decks i made for three or four times what they cost me, shipping included.
Olivia Voldaren would fit in nicely i think, She adds a bit of Control to Vamps.....But she may not be the type of thing you Want in this one. Just a thought.
It should come in within a few days and ill start playtesting it. I like it because its basic, and you can play it just by tossing out creatures and hoping you played the instants and sorcs right, but the longer you play, the more places you see to use everything. Its got lots of different abilities that new players can try their hand at mastering, and it has a wide enough creature base to give them a big, but not too big, taste of what Magic has to offer. I may tinker around with it and see if i can upgrade it a little, and if what i do works ill give you the change log and let you see if you like it. I'd definitely call it a well worth it purchase :)
Low: $17.94 Mid: $32.16 High: $76.22 I stole it from you, Did give you credit in the About section though. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=377366
Oh, and just to make it look better for prospective Buyers, I'd toss out the expensive Alpha counterspell and replace it with ones from Sixth edition, they are less than a dollar each, so that would save you up to 250 bucks on the price. I know that means absolutely nothing, but it makes a Badass deck like this one look all the more better the cheaper it is.
Nice Changes, Not only did you make your control grip stronger, You also tightened up the Mana Curve. It went from Annoying, to pretty damn dangerous. Maybe Drop out two Wall Of Frost, and replace them with Fog Bank....Only because Fog Bank can't be killed by combat damage. Also, the Sphinx is really expensive for what it does...and steps your mana curve a bit beyond what it really needs to be, But thats only a Minor thing, and the combo of it and Augury Owl may very well be worth the price in the end. +26 Points for this one, Great Job! :)
The card "Ghostly Prison" was the sole reason for me building this deck actually....I got sick of one of my friends always having two of them in his opening hand, So i told him "Fine, if im going to have to pay that much to attack you, Im going to make sure i only have to do it once you overprotected douchecanoe!"....And thus Uberdamage was Born. I had this deck way up to 180 cards, with maybe 50 different ways to kill....but they begged me to make it smaller. So i just made it Quicker at the same time. Since it was an upgrade version of the deck named "The Artifactory", i just added the Prime for turds and titters. In actuality this deck has a Sideboard of all the Leyline cards....and each set is for a different one of my badass friends decks. The worst was a Reanimator deck that pulled out UBER stuff, like Iona and Emrakul....On the first turn. (Emrakul was usually on the second, because you couldnt gravedance him like the rest) So i added a Leyline Of The Void to keep that shit from happening. I honestly dont know why i typed all of that.....im just that bored at the moment, Hope i didnt bore anyone to death :)
What im TRYING to do is build up the player base here....I've introduced maybe 15 people to the game, and i keep pushing them to think for themselves.....its slow work, but at least its going somewhere. Maybe in the future they can come here and let their minds be blown....They are still at the stage where they think Trample is the coolest ability ever, and i have to keep reminding them that Regenerate does NOT pull a creature back from the graveyard. *sigh* i've got a lot of work ahead.
Great Idea...but im not sure what to take out to Add it....I can't think of a more streamlined deck than i already have....I guess thats why im not as good as i'd like to be.
My problem is the Opposite. I lived in Seattle for a few years, and played againts some seriously badass tournament players....and i had to get good enough to keep them from destroying me constantly. So i did. Now im back where i lived for the first 25 years of my life....Arkansas. There is nobody here that even stands a ghost of a chance against me, even counting the people who taught me how to play in the first place. Since its a massacre every time we sit to play....I've actually taken to building my decks very very carefully, avoiding the big scary stuff and making just Solid decks. This one that you made here....I'd never buy it in a million years, even if it were 10 bucks. Its WAY too good to play here, Id just lose more players if i used it :)
Nah, i've actually, strangely enough, got her in one of my Mill decks. For this deck she costs too much, and she can only take one card per tap, where Horseshoe crab can take a lot more. Nice suggestion though.
Want Ultimate Control over their Creatures? Try This: Horseshoe Crab + Viridian Longbow + Charisma. This will make it so that you can take as many of their creatures as you have Islands to tap. To make it even scarier, add in Swiftfoot Boots, or anything else cheap to give Horseshoe Crab Shroud...and they can't do a damn thing about it. Check out my take on Control. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=280461
Also, to keep any Reanimator decks like that from running psycho on you...If i have the slightest clue that im going up against one, I pack in Leyline Of The Void....No more gravedancing for them!
It really surprises me that people miss the two best combos with him. (Best in my opinion anyway) Stuffy Doll + Guilty Conscience = One Tap Kill And Stuffy Doll + Overblaze + Into The Maw Of Hell (Or any other spell that does 10 or more damage really)
Just bought from TCGPlayer.com......Not counting Lands, it cost me less than 8 bucks. Friggin Sweet!
Nice Value! For that price, its way more than worth it, Especially if someone is relatively new and looking for something they can understand AND still be deadly with. I may just buy a copy of this for Training purposes :) (I'm gradually building up the player base in my area and im always looking for Solid Cheap Decks)
Fangren Pathcutter is one of my favorite green cards, Every part of it is awesome, Art, Flavor text, Ability...all of it. This seems like its a great Long-Haul deck......So many decks i see aren't cut out for any late game stuff.
Yeah, stuffy doll is starting to Annoy me. I've been using him for years and never has anyone said much... Now that they reprint it, There are stuffy doll decks running rampant. Ill be glad when he rotates out of Standard.
