very cool idea, although your removal and permission spells seem odd to me. I think i would want remand, cryptic command, mana leak, spell peirce,dissolve, etc. just because they are A) faster or B) have an upside. for removal i like go for the throat, doom blade, and slaughter pact. dont like laboratory maniac without some sort of way to combo him

oh man, i nthink you have some good ideas muktidata, but ensoul is just such a powerfull card i cant see cutting down to one. affinity, run by pros, is at 3 ensouls, just because it steals games. im seeing tun 1 vault skirge, turn 2 attatch ensoul artifact, swing 5 gain 5. thats a 4 turn clock at worst, just such a good card

I agree. i think you want monastery swiftspear rather than ash zealot. and eidolon turns off some of your opponenents. im a burn player, and ive found we dont need that many sb cards. my current is

x3 smash to smithereens
x3 torpor orb
x2 ash zealot
x3 molten rain
