its a pet card of mine, but in a beatdown deck a green ball lightning seems good

you kow im still kinda on the rocks on that. its nice because it hits seige rhino's and dig through times and planeswalkers, but hero's downfall sucks
you do not want anger of the gods here. you do want x4 of each: lightning bolt, shard volley, rift bolt, lava spike. all these spells are cmc 1 and do 3 damage. this speeds the deck up and will get you turn 4 wins

Type your deck name...Playtested yesterday, 30 matches against abzan, mono green, and temur. won 26, got absolutly mana screwed in two that i lost. dropping ugin was usually game. its playing really well

Only against abzan and RDW (the two my friends have built.) no FNM or PPTQ play yet. abzan matchup is really good. as long as i live till turn 6-7 i start to take over the game. Red deck wins seems 50-50, although same thing, if i make it through early game i will see enough removal to win. SB in feed the clan and negate and it seems easy. after watching fabiano this type of deck is top 3 in the format

cut down on the creatures a bit, id go to 2 butcher and 3 mentor, then add in 3 crackling doom
not super familar with the format, can you not run cavern of souls?
