@SoulofMirrodin

Actually browbeat is a great idea, and a great way to keep my hand full. Thank you.

Anything that you wouldn't have or would swap out? Just asking because you said "most of the things I would have".

Long story, short? I'm a stubborn idiot who stopped playing after Scourge, and decided to come back 10 years later, lol. I also don't play competitively, although I wouldn't mind doing so. It's hard to find vintage/legacy tourney's however. Obviously I would have to scrap that rule, lol.

Lol, I agree 100%, my friend. The same goes with many cards, like black lotus.

I know, I just don't care about land lol. It's all basic, it comes from almost every set. Thanks though.

I thought about necro's too. But I already have the ability to draw cards if needed (howling mine, stroke of genius) and I have no way to gain the life back. I know how powerful it is (hence why it's banned) but I just don't know how well I would be able to survive if someone actually managed to deal damage to me consistently while taking burn damage from it. And in order to stop the bleed and have a draw phase again, I would need something like powder keg or nevinyrral's disk which would destroy all of my enchantments that are actually causing damage. That's why I decided to leave them out. Thanks though. :)

This site shows pictures from the newest sets, but every single one of those cards existed prior to Mirrodin.

Although Dreamborn Muse is quite an amusing card, there are 2 reasons why it doesn't belong here. Firstly, the muse is much better in a mill deck (library destruction) which this is not (although it does have the ability to significantly reduce the size of one's library). Secondly, can you imagine what would happen to my own library during my upkeep if I have spellbook in play? As for Jace's Archivist, please read my note under deck description. Thanks for your thoughts. :)

first of all, love the hatred. made me smile :) second of all, if I was playing competitively, don't you think I would add cards from newer sets? third of all, you pretty much boiled down your argument to one specific blue/white creature hater deck that would pretty much ruin any beatdown deck with no countermagic. fourth of all, where are the suggestions? please post something a little more productive or constructive the next time you decide to rip on a deck.

Very good points. I completely forgot about the duality of those lands. And I suppose you can gain some of that lost life with the Thragtusk/Cloudshift combo. I still think that rampant growth is a stronger card overall however. Interesting deck with some great synergies. I'd be excited to see how this plays out against some of the other green/white aggro decks out there.

I would highly recommend adding 4 elvish champion's, 4 timberwatch elf's, 4 llanowar elves and 2 more heedless one's. I would also recommend sideboarding elvish scrapper's and druid lyrist's for artifact and enchantment destruction, and maybe some wirewood pride's for HUGE instant 1 mana boosts. I would swap out (or sideboard) the 2 copperhorn scout's, the 2 rofellos, the 2 rhys the exiled, the 2 elvish harbringer's, 1 ambush commander, 1 ezuri and 4 forest's. Just my opinion :)

Why not switch out the farseek's for rampant growth's? Same casting cost and ability but you can search for any basic land. Farseek can only search for plains, mountain, swamp or island. Right now that card is useless to you since you only have forest's. Since you have a heavily green-based deck, having extra forest's in play is key, so I highly recommend this change. Also, I would swap out the 4 temple garden's for 4 mountain, and swap out the 4 stomping ground's for 2 plains and another 2 forest. This will not only give you a higher probability of playing the clifftop retreat's and sunpetal grove's UNTAPPED, but this also synergizes with the use of rampant growth over farseek, and gives you more forest's. Just my opinion :)
