Love the concept of Dash Hopes...problem is, you have to already have your opponent over a barrel to get the result you want. This deck is aligned to do that, though, so...? Maybe cut Talisman of Indulgence, & forego the flashback option on Bump?

Most Tom: :D Called Tim: Yeah, but it essentially results in burn, "black-style", so...Do like Bob.
Claws of Gix, maybe? With mana rocks/dorks... So maybe more like using Worldfire. I still like the idea of an Esper build, though. You know, it's really convoluted trying to make this feasible in Modern. -.-
Holy smokes! I can't believe I completely spaced that off. Okay, back to the drawing board.
Well, I "liked" your deck anyway, in spite of the "Sway of the Stars fiasco" :D, to try to draw attention to your challenge, as it's hard to know how active the forums are anymore. As for possible approaches, seems like an Esper build would work...covers Barren Glory, O-Ring, One With Nothing, tutors/counters/removal, creatures w/ shadow/unblockable, etc. etc. etc. I was thinking maybe exile Barren Glory w/ O-Ring, then attack w/ Worldslayer on an unblockable critter/one w/ shadow, after using One With Nothing to empty your hand. This might be another good use for Thassa, which can be tutored as an enchantment same as Barren Glory & O-Ring. Esper colors also give access to Wall of Denial, Augury Owl, & Cryptic Annelid for bodies/additional scry...probably other goodstuff I'm not thinking about right now. At any rate, I do hope some folks participate, & am looking forward to seeing your Worldfire deck. :)
Personally, I think it sucks, & it makes me glad I only play casually, as my group & I will disregard it. To me, every time they make a change that decreases a player's options, it feels as though their ultimate goal is to make playing Magic the equivalent of playing an arcade game.
Gamble might be helpful. Could get a bit convoluted, though.
Thassa, God of the Sea + Paradox Haze are excellent in my Esper deck; scry (at least) 2 on each of your turns, deal unblockable damage, & if you add Bident of Thassa, draw a card (+ Bident's provoke ability, as desired). One Bident + one Elocutors is all you'd need to meet Thassa's devotion requirement, as well, giving you a 5/5 indestructible whose own ability can make it unblockable (not to mention your Fretwork Colony!). Sorry, I just couldn't resist jumping on the Paradox Haze bandwagon. But it really would be great in your deck. :)
10 character minimum: Oops.
I run a RW deck w/ Stuffy Doll in it myself; it's strictly KT, but lots of fun to play. I run Swans of Bryn Argoll in it as well, which provides another excellent target for Fatal Attraction & burn spells (& which could also be run in a UR deck). If you run a mono-R deck, like this, & have enough snow-covered mountains to run , Skred is another great option. BTW, I think you're right about people shaping the decks they see on sites like this into their own creations; one of the best things about Magic, to me, is the constant variety it offers, & sites like this can provide lots of ideas & inspiration. Good gaming, all! :)
Intriguing deck! However, giving your opponent life w/ Wall of Shards seems counterintuitive, & it seems as though you'd ideally want to replace it w/ another flier once you had the mana available to do so. Some I think are worth considering: Sun Web is a 5/6 flier; it does have the restriction of not being able to block creatures w/ 2 or less power, though. Wall of Reverence is 1/6 flier that grants life gain, which seems in keeping w/ your theme, although you'd want to run it w/ some creatures w/ real power if you want the life gained to add up to much. Wall of Swords = 3/5 flier; Wakestone Gargoyle is a 3/4 flier that lets your creatures w/ defender attack. While it lacks defender, Moltensteel Dragon might be worth considering, as you can both reduce it's casting cost & power it's fire breathing by paying w/ life if you choose to (Phyrexian mana, which also means you can cast it w/ no mountains on the BF, needs be). These were just some thoughts I had; it seems like it would be good fun to turn the tables on your opponents by being able to transition from defending to aggressively attacking. :D Hope you don't mind me throwing my 2 cents in. Good gaming! :)
Do you think your deck would benefit from including creatures w/ abilities for which sacking a creature is the/a cost? - Defiant Salvager, Herald of Anguish, Yahenni, Undying Partisan, or the like?
As long as you're running Funeral Charm, why not throw in a couple Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth?
Considering you have a number of creatures w/ ETB abilities, Momentary Blink might be nice, especially as it has flashback (also, since it's an instant, you could use it to untap your Frost Titan during your opponent's turn, needs be).
That seems like a better trade off.
Hmm...Well, Stitcher's Graft on a token or a Druid would be okay for blocking, & you can still sac the latter to get a land...but I think I'd replace Evangel w/ Brood Butcher.
Lol Mangykobold3, I was just on another deck where you asked the same question. Just because Copter is the "it" card right now doesn't mean every deck has to run it...imo. :)
Actually, for what they each do, I like MF Wonder better in this deck; you're not trying to do the crew bit, anyway, & Wonder gives you a lot more options. Either way, +1. :)
Nope. :'( (On the plus side, they're more affordable now.) :')
They're legal in the formats where the "regular" versions are legal...for example, the Gearhulks in everything, Mox Opal in everything but Standard, & so on.
