My initial impression of this deck is that it's the blackest 4-color artifact deck I've ever seen...so of course, +1. Have a happy holiday, mate!

SPIDER SPAM!!! Delicious w/ Vegemite, mate. ;)
Raise Dead has the same effect as Disturbing Plot for B (& is also Modern legal), so maybe...? As always, cool concept, & I'm a fan of seeing Grandeur abilities abused. +1!!
Wow, more props for always finding ways to bridge the competitive vs. budget gap, & being dedicated enough to the game (& this community) to do so. +1.
Grixis G!! Pressed for time right now, but wanted to at least stop by long enough to show the deck some love, also, still working on, or forgot 1 card? +1.
If the cost on this deck doesn't suit you, then try checking out Zak's "ultimate budget" soul sisters deck, or his Modern budget series. This is a person who puts his money where his mouth is (no pun intended) when it comes to wanting to help people get into the game.
Re: the forums, defunct since before my time, but rumored to be returning.
DAMN SKIPPY!!!
Now, why doesn't that surprise me? ;)
I am amazed, & know not what to say (Hermia, Act III, Scene 2, Midsummer Night's Dream). See also flavor text from Mana Screw (Unhinged). ;)
I think anyone sitting across the table from you would agree that "noble infect" is an oxymoron. ;) +1.
Some comments on some of the above, culled from Gatherer: Ignoble Soldier: "Accorder Paladin took one look, & began to weep openly." Viashino Skeleton: "Aven Trooper, we brought home a little brother." Goes well in my tribal shit heap deck." "Strictly better than shooting yourself in the foot." Scorching Spear: "Only 2 of these to kill a Storm Crow? 5/5." Break Open: "You can put it on an Isochron Scepter, then turn ALL of your opponent's cards face up!" "This card is good when my opponent plays his turn 3 2/2 morph creature, & you really, really want to see if it's R Akroma." Aysen Highway: "Because this would have completely broken the metagame @ 2+3W." Great Wall: "This is going in my 60 card Battle of Wits deck." Happy Monday, all. :D
How did Ember Shot not make the list? Undercosted? ;)
...& now a "deck" that lists decks that made the Hot Page, makes the Hot Page. As the ineffable Mr. King once said, have some more irony...it's good for your blood. O.o
It does look nice, doesn't it? Unfortunately, DaBeard hasn't posted any new decks in over a year, so he's probably not active here anymore.
Honestly, I'm starting to think I'm the only person on this site who doesn't even think to look at the price of a deck. I could care less what a deck costs, so long as it's well-built, either casually OR competitively. (That said, in fairness, competitive players don't shoot down decks for being expensive, because they know the cost is justified. But disliking decks just because they're cheap, rather than judging them on their merits, doesn't make sense, either.)
Well played, I just got my "lol for the day" when it came up on my screen. :D
Wasn't disputing your decks druid-ness...just pointing out that it's the druids (not elves) that steal the lands. As for the rest, as they say, if it works, don't fix it. Enjoy!
In addition to the Dems & Reps, there's also the Independent ticket, though it's never been a gateway to the Whitehouse. Candidates for office have used it to gain entrée at the state level, though.
Okay, land destruction (which I HATE), but not badly done, so +1. But is it asking too much to beg a description/how to play for the newchum? (Ex: What cost would you want to cast Chalice at?) Decks on this site have the potential to be instructive, & I for one would like to see them achieve that potential. O.O
