I don't really see the point of using Grim Backwoods in this deck since all of your creatures fulfill some purpose. And you can't go wrong with replacing some of those sorceries with a Necrotic Ooze either. Also, one last thing, I would replace Deathmark and Doom Blade with Putrefy due to it being much more versatile.

Why not throw in a few Curse of the Pierced Heart cards to keep the damage going?
You have a lot of lands for such a small mana curve. I would replace some of those lands with creature cards to help balance the deck out. Other black Undying creatures include Demonlord of Ashmouth, Evernight Shade, and Sightless Ghoul.
Goblin Wardriver, Furnace Scamp, Hoard-Smelter Dragon, Firebreathing, Circle of Flames, and Harvest Pyre should be taken out. I'm not sure it this is enough/too much, but these are the ones that stood out to me as unnecessary.
Cabal Coffers is a much more productive alternative to Rain of Filth.
I agree with doom. Also, replacing 4 swamps with Cabal Coffers wouldn't hurt. And I would personally replace Seizan with Harvester of Souls or Abyssal Persecutor.
Needs moar Worldslayer
I personally don't see the need for the great number of Workers/Sliths/Stingers in this deck due to it not being proliferate heavy, so it is possible to try and replace them with other useful cards. Steel Overseer and Volt Charge could find a place in this deck, but I'm sure there are plenty more options than just that. Also, while I personally like having Cloudpost + Glimmerpost to help with ramping, I'm not sure if taking away that many mountains/forests would be wise.
I'm trying very hard to think of a way to further improve this deck, but I can think of none. Brilliant job good sir, brilliant job.
And I also don't see the point in Blood Feud considering the low damage your creatures have. You may as well replace it with another low costing damage instant so that you have more versatility.
I would replace Fires of Undeath for Firebolt or Lightning Bolt. It's relatively low damage, and you don't have a swamp for it's flashback cost, not to mention they each cost less mana.
If you could somehow work in Curse of Bloodletting into this deck, you would be golden.
Bloodflow Connoisseur is a great example of one, and of course you can't go wrong with adding a Curse of Bloodletting. Personally I would get rid of your Pyreheart Wolves and a few Butcher Ghouls and a Demonlord of Ashmouth to make room for these cards.
I would squeeze in several Blood Artists to help exploit the removal of the +1 counters. It also wouldn't hurt to try and find a more static way to sacrifice your creatures to keep the damage rolling.
You're absolutely correct, but I personally saw that as a far too slow alternative. And I didn't mean to imply that everything non-Arcbound is useless, in fact a good portion of the cards compliment it well, I was just trying to suggest alternatives. I apologize if I came off as dismissive of your deck, I actually find it far more interesting than what I managed to come up with.
If your focus is to get out your creatures with modular and beef them up, then about half of this deck suits that purpose well. However, the other half seems just thrown in, and does not seem like it would flow well with your other cards. Maybe replace some of the more random cards like Darksteel Reactor with a Contagion Clasp or Thrummingbird to give you more proliferate options, or maybe get a few more Arcbound creatures. This deck is off to a great start, but you really need to keep your focus on one or two things at a time.
Pretty nice deck for the cost, except I would swap out the Llanowar Elves for Scorned VIllager. They cost one more mana, but once they transform, you get a 2/2 that can be tapped for two mana
I'd recommend finding finding a way to work in a couple of Chalice of Life artifacts. It would suit this kind of deck beautifully. Otherwise I'd say it's a pretty solid deck.
Thank you, that was exactly the kind of help I was looking for. I've been sifting through the nonbasic land cards for quite a bit now, but have not had much luck finding things that I feel would work well with this deck. I typically don't use such a high costing deck, but I was intrigued by the possibilities I could make with it.
