Nova Chaser might be a fun addition.

Oh yeah, I get it. It's less 60-card mill than using mill to power its creatures.

I like hands of binding more than hidden strings, personally. If you're just trying to trim down to 60, I'd go

-2 psychic strike
-4 negate
-4 hidden strings

+2 hands of binding

Maybe consider some big board-clearing stuff like Mutilate/Cower in Fear/Curse of Death's Hold? It'll be great for when you don't get any creatures in your hand and it'll help stock the graveyards a bit more. Death's Approach could also be cool.

Basically, less counter/control and more straight-up killing. Balancing the two colours will make the deck play much more smoothly and the more broad-reaching kill-spells will fuel the hell out of your creatures.

There's not actually a huge amount of mill here. Nuke Last Thoughts (it's terrible, that ability usually costs 1). Maybe switch it out for paranoid delusions? It's not a huge amount of cards but stuck on an invisible stalker, it'll add up over the course of a game.

Why Sulfur Falls? You've got no Islands or Mountains, so it'll always come into play tapped. Those cards are expensive in $$$ but they're not doing you any better than guildgates.

You want some easier Sac to really pump up those abilities. Viscera Seer? Bloodthrone Vampire? Mortician Beetle is also a cool choice. Barter in Blood would also work. My recommendation:

-1 Butcher of Malakir
-3 Falkenrath Noble
-3 Veilborn Ghoul (skeletons are doing that job anyway)
-2 Zombie Infestation
-2 Grimoire of the Dead

+2 Barter in Blood
+3 Bone Splinters
+3 Mortician Beetle
+3 Bloodthrone Vampire

Thopter Foundry isn't really complete without Sword of the Meek. Pair them with Time Sieve for infinite turns.

oh and no removal or bounce either. Those decks with only one creature, no removal and no bounce. You've got them backed right against the wall.

No problem dude. Have you thought about the Kamigawa Star Dragons? Keiga, The Tide Star etc (search "Dragon Spirit" for type and you'll see 'em)

Just in case you missed it, Persist has a more recent big bro called Undying, which means the creature comes back with a +1/+1 token instead of a -1/-1.

Spitfires are a little less useful because I'm not heavy on the direct damage. I've been tossing up the pros and cons of NEs and I think I might sideboard some. Thanks for the comment. :)

Might be worth looking at Plaguemaw Beast: sacrifice 1 saproling, add a spore token to every thallid.

oh man oh man oh man. Forget what I said about the gauntlet. Keep it, nuke the RBs + Skyshroud, add Llanowar Elves and ...

Genesis Wave.

It's so perfect. All that mana, then one gigantic genesis wave and fill the field with big guys. Find a place for Genesis Wave right now.

I'd nuke the Gauntlet of Power: by the time you've got 5 mana (turn 2 if you land the right elves), the bruisin' machine is already well up-and-running and +1/+1 doesn't make a huge difference on creatures that were already pretty huge to begin with.

Maybe switch out the Rampaging Baloths and Skyshrouds as well? They're nice but most of your mana comes from creatures and you might get more out of some cheaper heavy-hitters like Garruck's Companion or Leatherback Baloth.

Llanowar Elves seems like the obvious choice. Syncs with the Priests/Archdruids, gives you a 1-drop that can be an early-game blocker and produces green mana as well.

Late game? I'm loving the hell out of Mercurial Chemister right now. He doesn't have the raw punch of a lot of big things but card advantage/cheap draw can be massively game changing. I'm liking the treason sorceries: pop them as instants during your opponent's combat phase and you can nuke two enemy creatures in one move.

If your only sorcery is Index, Hypersonic Dragon is kinda useless. You can't physically cast Psychic Strike: you have no black mana source and I'm not sure the mill is doing anything for you anyway.

- 4 thoughtscour
- 4 psychic strike

Add more sorceries, then maybe some Nivmagus Elementals.

With only four Blue Mana symbols in there, you're better off adding Gemhide Slivers, then nuking the islands in favour of more forests.
