Thanks! I did think of the token path before I tried the reanimator. I really wanted to try more grave shenanigans than token ramping, so I put all my favorite grave cards in and went off. I love both of those ideas! Though Mortal Combat is a bit cheesy for me, I don't like "just winning" like that, but interesting idea. The grimoire is epic though and Ill have to find a place to get it in!Thanks for the reply ^_^

I would agree totally. Unfortunately this is a representation of a real deck I have. And Mesmeric is not something I currently own or something I can manage to find :) Once I find one and have the money to purchase it, it's definitely going in.Hair strung Koto is pretty interesting, but I don't think I want to be going that deep with milling. Playing it right now it definitely feels like the deck is doing a pretty good job of it. I would pick it OR mesmeric orb. Both would probably be too ham.Anything that you feel may not deserve to be in the deck? Or could be removed to slot in something more interesting?
I think they're just mad to lose in such a way ;D. My friend plays a deck similar to this, it's great fun. The only reason I dislike it at all is because another friend plays Aloro and doesn't take any real damage from "whenever an opponent draws" cards. Other than that, it helps everyone get tons of fuel to do what they want but still worry about dying and plan around that.
My deck is actually not very close to yours at all except for some of the Planeswalkers.Decays are good, but I don't own any, and I don't fancy having to go find some before rotation anyway. If I had'em sure, but for now my removal is pretty nice. Detention Spheres and Banishing lights can't target any of my creatures anyway, and my planeswalkers are only for some support for the creatures, so I feel safe not having a hard answer for those cards. Thanks for the suggestion though.
Love the concept of the deck :D Has a ton of my favorite cards from the new sets!May I ask why Gilder Bairn is in the deck?
Cut a Spectre, the mana cost for that seems a bit much for your crazy manabase.
Thanks. I was planning on running more land, but as it is now, I can hit my land pretty well off 25. ill definitely try it out more and try to see if it needs re-adjusting.Yes the wave is in for Verdict ^__^ hard to find those things nowadays.I think I might put in more removal in the form of Hero's downfall instead of something like ultimate price as well. Azorius charm is something that I'm adding, I just had to get a few from some friends that are supporting it :DBlood Baron has been running real well, though I plan on changing him into an Obzedat, Ghost Council because that guy is crazy good and hard to get rid of.Thanks for the comment and feedback though, appreciated :D
Just throwing it out there because I like the deck, but anything against remand? I use it in control deck I run, and it's really nice to stall and draw an extra card for a turn.
Definitely Underworld Connections. 2nd'ed.
No, it will work either way.
Yeah, I think Curse of Predation needs to go. You can side it for 1v1, however currently if the person being targeted gets significant creatures out or just dies to another player, you lose the +1/+1 ability anyway.
+ Darksteel IngotX Blessings of Nature (Sure 4 +1 counters, but it's just extraneous at this point with the amount of stuff you already have, we need cuts)X^ Scatter the Seeds (3 tokens, and a cheap GG cost sometimes, but you have so much spawn, probably just a random card you cast just to cast)Diabolic Tutor > Sterling Grove (Creatures < Enchants for creatures with the 29+ you have, plus they now can't just kill them! Plus 3 cost fetch)X Harvester Of Souls (With all tokens, not gonna trigger, plus <harmonize . Just not enough kill in the deck for it to be THAT good to earn a spot)+ Thelon of HavenwoodVictimze> Fungal BloomX's are outs+ Are in>< are direct switches!
Now, turn 3832...Forest or Mountain? Or maybe something they won't expect like a plains?
Thanks! I rarely get straight up posts like this. Appreciate your time helping.Prophet is sort of my pet card, I want it to work so bad, I love the concept so much. Sadly, it just doesn't have the right stuff... I've gotten off some cute wins with it, but nothing seriously consistent. Same with plasm capture >.< unfortunately, there's not even anything to dump into with the mana I would get.As for your deck, I've never been impressed with how Anger of the Gods works, it's never done it job for me. I like Rakdos Return so much better, so maybe 1 for 1 on that. I also liked the idea of Whip in there, it hits a ton of your huge guys like desecration demon and stormbreath for some extra damage. It also provides lifelink along with your helix's which covers any damage from read the bones or early aggro damage that allow you to stabilize. Maybe helix will just do better, but I love some come from behind plays with it, or some finishing moves with a flash-backed demon. (Plus cute tricks with Obzedat that are just a bonus whenever you get it off).Other than that, it just looks super solid. I can't really give you too much advice without just adding my own personal preference.
Architect of though with the crazy draw two ability is the Jace that would work best :D
If you are going to go inspiration you might as well be going Opportunity. 6 for 4 draw is even better than Sphinx's draw for that cost, only without the life. But it is instant and cheapish for the card advantage. I personally would play it over inspiration.
Divination and Jace are crazy good draw. Sphinx's Revelation is also insane if you're a control deck, it might as well be a win condition.
No problem, glad to suggest anything interesting. Good luck with it!
You can't not use a promo :D Those things are so majestic...My other thought I only recently had was like bio shift or even worse mutants prey. Those sound really bad to me, but honestly looking at it, bio shift is a gigantic surprise attack AND counter doubler with corpsejack, and mutants prey is a 1 mana kill spell on anything you want given your creatures do get insane as I think they would. Now this could just be me daydreaming of a fun deck that I wished worked solidly. Thinking of it, I imagine you'd want much more solid cards then that to get you in and out of situations, but man does it sound crazy on paper.
Thanks, BUG is my favorite to play with, and with monoblue and black being as they are it doesn't look good for other fun decks. Was hoping to create something solid that could hold its own and still be cool to play with. Thanks for the suggestion, I actually hadn't thought of ultimate, I think I'm way too hooked on all the multicolor craziness that was Ravnica 0_o
