If you're going to have Corpsejack Menace / Kalonian Hydra in there, I would suggest a few more creatures that interact with +1/+1 counters.Lotleth Troll is a fantastic card and would become highly recommended.Nemesis of Mortals is a decent choice, although like Nighthowler you might want to consider a bit more self-mill if you're going that route.Experiment One would be a pretty decent choice as well.If you are going to have Nighthowler in the deck, and if you wanted to add Nemesis of Mortals, I would suggest some self-mill. Grisly Salvage and Commune with the Gods work, but in your deck I would say go with Deadbridge Chant. It is a great late game card and very cheap. If you added Lotleth Troll that would also help.I have to be honest, I've never liked Vraska the Unseen. Her +1 doesn't really gain you anything, it only makes the opponent have to trade a creature to deal with her. Her -3 isn't bad, but it's a steep cost. Her -7 is really cool of course, but unreliable and hard to pull off since they'll see it coming. If you're in a board state where Vraska will win the game for you, you've already won anyway. Also, this might sound strange, but Golgari Charm is mostly a sideboard card. I'd say only run 1-2 in your maindeck, and keep the rest in sideboard to deal with more consistent removal.Maybe Varolz the Scar-Striped. He's decent too, although he doesn't interact so well with Nighthowler/Nemesis of Mortalshttp://www.mtgvault.com/setharoth/decks/golgari-standard-3/

Think you need to maindeck the AEtherling. Could probably replace the Quicken. I mean, instant-speed Supreme Verdict is always nice, but unless you have both in your hand at the same time then all Quicken does for you is cantrip.
Doesn't have to be a commander.
I do indeed like Sliver Queen better. And no, I do not own that... not rich enough :( I play it on Cockatrice, and it is pretty fun.
Yeah, i considered Mimic Vat, but Doomed Traveler is my only token-producing creature.
Seems good, but you might want to consider just making the deck mono-blue. There's really no need for the black mana cards you do have.
Might want some more lands, but cool idea overall.
I'm pretty sure ravinca isn't modern....
Actually pretty awesome.
Opponent: I now have 94,447,329,658,217,537,994,754 Golems! Me: I cast Doom Blade on Precursor Golem Opponent: O_O
Hm, I really like this deck. The mill may seem a little slow, but powerful nonetheless, and a solid, and cheap, standard deck.
Okay then. Learn something new every day :) Good deck bro
Wouldn't you just lose the moment you activated Hermit Druid's ability, because after revealing the last card in your deck you could no longer reveal any cards, but since you haven't revealed a basic land card you would lose?
Because I forgot to put it in :P Haha, it's in there now :)
I have a standard 60 card deck and 15 card sideboard. I already have 4 oblivion rings and 3 gideon's avengers. I'm going to swap out unruly mob with Mirran Crusaders tho, and I like Gideon Jura, but I'm not sure I could fit him in here really well.
Shrine of Piercing Vision may be a good idea too. Its probably better then Ponder or Golden Urn/Mycosynth Weelspring
Not a huge fan, the milling is very slow, only like 2/4/8/10 cards a turn, and if your opponent destroys those artifacts you don't have a way to get them back. I would suggest Grindclock as a better mill card in place of or alongside Shriekhorn, and it works better with all the proliferate.
Um, you don't have any way to play layline unless its in your opening hand, and you only have 2 of them in your deck. That means you only have about a 23% chance of drawing leyline in your opening hand, as opposed to a 66% chance if you have 4 of them in your deck. I would strongly recommend that if you're not going to have any islands, to at least have four leylines.
The main power-house of the deck is Ajani's Pridemate, as he gets a +1/+1 counter each time a creature (or himself) comes into play for each soul-warden like creature you control. That being said, I don't think Baneslayer angel, although a good card, is very appropiate for this deck, as it relies on speed. I felt the same way about Felidar Sovereign, though I included him in the side-board now. O-rings were a good idea, can't believe I forgot about them >.<. Cradle of Vitality I don't want because I would spend a lot of mana for not a lot of +1/+1 counters, as I'm only gaining 1 life with each trigger.
You couldn't put emrakul in the deck, or any of the legendary eldrazi, because they would automatically shuffle your graveyard back into your deck.
