How is this tournament quality? Land distribution is wrong. Should be 10 swamp 8 plains.

Nice concept, but I believe you need to be more aggressive with the deaths.
What I'd do, is 4 geralf 's messenger and some mass destruction spell like mutilate. If you don't want to risk stalling yourself with mutilate, bring in attrition/bone splinter for sacrifice AND creature control.

Because they're more than 5$ each. If you are willing to spend that money, keep them by all means, it's a great card, don't get me wrong on this. But if you want to be more cheap, those are quite expensive.

Let's make this less expensive, shall we?
-1 sublime archangel | +1 angelic overseer
-4 clifftop retreat | +4 terramorphic expanse
-1 ajani caller of the pride | +1 ajani goldmane
-3 champion of the parish and -1 fervor | +2 avacyn's collar and +2 bladed bracers
-3 thatcher revolt | +3 gather the townsfolk (this is not for budget but it is better)

Distortion Strike!
Looks like the most useful thing. The fact is, when you destroy the opponent's big creatures you don't need Ashling to be unblockable anymore. Because, as a matter of fact, your only worries are creatures bigger than her, not smaller.

So Distortion Strike, due to the fact that is a 1 drop, rebounds, and you can use it easily only when you need to, seems invaluable in this deck.
Dauthi Embrace is good too.
You could even add some sword, sword of war & peace being the best choice IMO.
Also, what's the point of sigil of sleep here? You are destroying creatures already.

Nice attempt. I suggest you implement a Prodigal Sorcerer (the Gelectrode works too) + Sigil of sleep combo. That's classical control.
Mana Leak is another card I would definitely add. Other than this, good job for your first deck :)

Yes I did. Did you?
That ruling says
THOSE ABILITIES WILL TRIGGER AT THE BEGINNING OF THE END STEP OF THE NEXT TURN.
So that's exactly what you're saying. What is your problem? Chill out.

Really brutal deck, that's how I like them!
But I have to bring bad news. Most recent rulings of Braid of Fire doesn't allow mana storage. Basically, after your upkeep, all the mana is gone and the only way to use it is with an instant.
You may want to reconsider it.

Thanks :)
It takes an average of 5 or 6 turns. A lot depends on luck, of course, and on the opponent's deck. But it's very possible to win earlier with a lucky starting hand.

Howling Mine of course. Arcane Denial could be handy as well. Careful consideration, Compulsive Research are good for drawing. Maybe 1 or 2 Jace's Phantasm for cover.

Really solid, Nova Chaser + Fling has always been one of my favorite combos.
You might want to play Electropotence or Warstorm Surge to maximize your aggro.

I'll be damned :(
Ruling says
9/22/2011: If Sundial of the Infinite's ability is activated before the end step, any "at the beginning of the end step"-triggered abilities won't get the chance to trigger that turn because the end step is skipped. Those abilities will trigger at the beginning of the end step of the next turn.
For some reason, I missed the second part of the sentence. Oh well.

I like the use of paradox haze paired with endless ranks of the dead. Really smart and quite effective, there's some good stuff here.

Haha sorry pal, but that seemed the most appropriate answer to people who just spam their decks without even commenting your. That's kinda rude, isn't it?
Again, sorreh. :P

So I'm guessing this wins with Luminarch Ascension. Which is nice.
To take no damage shield sphere is great, but I would consider a Maze of Ith as well, to stall the game and avoid taking damage until the Ascension is ready.
But it's not necessary, really. I see you are well entrenched anyway, so that would be just an additional precaution.
Good job sir, +1 for style. :)

You know what, that's a good point. Those creatures are most likely to die even with the sundial, and in that case I wouldn't even be able to sacrifice them.
Having more could really be not only a life saver, but a good way to keep the opponent under pressure.
I'm really happy of all these improvements, so thank your very much again Mashitta :)
