Gossamer Chains is a really cool addition. +1 for cool interactions!

So what's the Displace for in the deck? So far there aren't any enter-the -battlefield effects, and it may not be a great idea to bounce the meld or renown creatures
God, unsubstantiate is good. It conveniently skips the "can't be countered" clause
Yes! I mean I have no idea why they printed Harmless Offering for but it would workSince you're running blue you could have things that contain the angel, like:Fog walker, blinding drone, claustrophobia, Chilling Grasp, disciple of the ring, Encase in ice!, Grip the Roil, Nibilis of Frost!, send to sleep, sleep paralysis, Stitched ManglerMaybe one or two of these...
Are you going to harmless offering the freakin Castigator?! That's ballsy, even for my decklists
Assuming you haven't already, you can export the decklist or just copy the designI'll probably mess around with this list this week to see how a planeswalker deck would work
Oh, I didn't see the homunculus :^)Also remember the 7+ cards your opponent will be drawing at the start, so you just need to take care of the 53 cards in their deck without losing in 5 or 6 turns.
Startled awake, you really only need 2 or 3 since it can bring itself back.I really like Sphinx's tutelage, even though it's a rotato it's a great mill card
Flaying Tendrils is good sideboard for Languish if they are running 2-toughness creatures
Running black you can still sideboard cards like Transgress the mind, Ultimate price, and Read the bones.Youcould also think about running Dragonlord Silmungar, but he rotates sooner or later
Illusionist's bracers are really awesome with Rhys and Trostani. Strionic resonator would be really good with Blade of Selves too, and the exarch. Plus it has a low mana cost so having one will add some flavor.
I gotcha, You're not focusing on the life gain as much as the life-loss synergies/token genIt's smart to keep the mana costs of the creatures low so you can have something to play early, and you can use your mana in the mid-game to cast combo cards. The only other thing I can think of that's not in black or red... is that new artifact coming out in Eldritch Moon: Cryptolth Fragment/Aurora of Emrakul, the ramp is a plus for getting to Rhys' ult, but it is also kinda slow, idk what do you think?
Mimic Vat is confusing, it's more an EDH staple than anything. I love it because (it's an artifact) when other peoples stuff dies you can just steal it from death, and stop them doing some stupid infinite graveyard combo XPIf you're looking for angel tokens there's the Moonsilver Spear; kinda fits with Blade of Selves, I guess. There's also this one angel producer that I don't think I've mentioned yet. The card Luminarch Ascension is a really strong enchantment with a pretty specific condition, but once it goes off it's a great token factory in ANY white deck. Some more little notes:~ Second Harvest > Parallel Evolution in most cases~ looks like all you'll need is Parallel lives. Doubling Season is heckn expensive (worth it for planeswalkers tho) and Primal Vigor is dangerous in the hands of an opponent~ I like the way you set up your landsMore ETB lifegain creatures to consider:- Lone Missionary- Loxodon Heirarch- Swagtusk (Thragtusk)- Kitchen Fink$
This looks like a fun multiplayer deck, the more opponents the better. The combo wouldn't work very well 1v1 since the sword won't create any tokens against one defending player. The deck kinda has a Geist of Saint Traft or Invocation of Saint Traft feel to it, like attacking to generate tokens. I think Mimic Vat would be a great addition to the deck, since it combos with Sundial and benefits off lost creatures. Also its a very fun artifact imo.
hmm, maybe you could use something aggressive, like Fiendslayer PaladinThe Magical Jedi
Actually, Dragons and Origins stays in until Kaladesh enters rotation, so you'd be able to play this deck until September. Another two months :p don't know if that's worth it
I see you found the Tree of Perdition combo. As I keep looking at this deck build, I can't help but wonder at the other possibilities behind it. I love Assault Formation and wish it was used more in standard. I keep thinking "what if this was pure eldrazi" or "how could I run it if i just did the strongest toughness creatures". That sort of thing.
Yeah thas good. Instant-speed stuff is good. The two I mentioned above are playable purely bc you can play them early before you need to from the 4 and 3 cost creatures
I feel dumb, I totally forgot about the equipment! There's new cards like Transverse the Ulvenwald and Fork in the Road that migh be faster than Nissa's, just for getting the right colors in your hand.
ok.I see people run Transgress the Mind in their main board with more in the sideboard to cut down their enemy's tempoAlso, I'm wondering if there's a better ramp card than Nissa's Pilgrimage, since it only grabs forests
