He's great, especially if you run a playset with Scion of the Ur Dragon

I had it in there originally, but realized the only thing I would use it on would be Suncrusher or Draco. all the others cost five or less anyway.

interesting idea. There's a card i like that goes well with this type of deck, but it's red: Molten Psyche.
If I made this, I would drop the green and add red, put in some Izzet draw-power, and maybe a few Underworld Dreams

Ive made a deck like this before. This one is tough. Try Cloudshift, Growing Ranks, or Parallel Lives to amp up the token gen.
Also, Beast of Burden works suprisingly well in this situation.

I usually run Corpsejack Menace with Hydras. Doubling Season doesn't hurt either :D

some good ramp is needed in green decks like this. I would suggest Arbor Elf + Wild Growth/Overgrowth.
I might even go out on a limb and throw in a Primeval titan or two.
