Did you ever consider Sire of Insanity? At least SB it, against control decks it will just give them nothing to cling to.

Anyone else notice that this deck has a 2 drop? Upon further inspection, it appears Xenagos is labeled as a 2 drop in deck stats.

I like it, I don't know much about modern so I wouldn't know what to do with it but it looks fun to play. Especially using Venser.

I don't mind a fun deck on the front page, easier for the community to get involved and interact with each other.

Erebos. We may not worship him, but we all become his servants eventually.

I for one love casual. Unfortunately, there isn't much casual around. It's all just standard and there is just no diversity. I'm currently trying to show some of my friends how to play and build decks just to enjoy playing for fun again. I often direct them to your decks to prove magic doesn't have to be expensive. Thanks for the contributions.

Well the lands are necessary for the corrupts. If you can find a different form of life gain then it wouldn't be too bad.

After proxying something similar I've come to the conclusion that you can discard their hand by turns 3-4 but have a very hard time getting rid of anything they played before their empty hand. Other than that look's pretty good. You are able to easily gain card advantage with Read the Bones, Underworld Connections, and Bloodgift Demon. Doing this puts you in the lead pretty much the whole game aside from the life loss, but some Nighthawks and Corrupts can fix that.

Here's what I was running:

Anytime buddy. Next we can work on your creatures, there is better out there. I recommend Bloodgift Demon as it's not easily dealt with, it's cheap, and it helps you maintain your card advantage. Need to get some good life gain though with all this loss.

Usually just instant it in at the end of opponent's turns if they didn't use mana on anything else. But then again out of the 4 decks I've seen IRL it wasn't useful, that isn't a good ratio against all the people online and even the pro tours who are running x4. So I may be wrong.

I see too many decks running x4 Sphinx's Revelations and from my experience with it, it just isn't that useful to be running x4. Majority of the time it's just a dead drop in their hand and can only cast it for 1-2. At that much mana you may as well be casting an Inspiration. Keep them if their working for you but I'd drop them to 2 or 3. Probably 3.

The Scorned Villager to me is unnecessary, werewolves are a faster deck and the mana acceleration seems a bit unnecessary when everything is a low drop anyways. Gatstaf Shepherd is a card to look into. When buffed by Mayor of Avabruck and Immerwolf it really applies the pressure.

Fun fact: The German word for always is Immer. Immerwolf translated means always wolf.

I second the Mayor of Avabruck, 1 of if not the best werewolf card period.
