I like the idea but liliana and ajani seem out of place. I'd replace them with thoughtseize and change the doom blades to ultimate price. Maybe go for a third elspeth.

Why would you want to stick to theros? You have 3 months to run wild with the 2 blocks and the 2 core sets.

As for spells I think I had
4 brave the elements
3 boros charm
1 spirit bond
2 ajani (m14)
3 banishing light
1 spear
1 hall of triumph

Running 14 plains 4 sacred foundries and 4 battlefield forges. With your 21 lands your never going to hit 6 mana for the soul.

Why no brave the elements? I'd also recommend dropping the primate too. I haven't got around to posting my soldier list on the site yet but it is pretty much a variation of the old weenie list.

I think mine went:
4 soldier of the pantheon
4 dryad militant
4 boros elite
4 precinct captain
3 Brimaz
4 preeminent captain

Yes it would, your ideal turn 4 is one of your planeswalkers. I'd recommend moving Brimaz into the sideboard and drop the godsend for another land. Use 3 banishing priest and one spear to replace the Brimaz. He's not human and he's only needed for a few decks. And for when the core set drops the new flash creature for the sideboard maybe some celestial flares too.

I called it sub par because you are half aggro and half midrange. Jamming two good decks together won't work if they had different win conditions. Cards like night howler, satyr wayfinder and mana dorks don't belong in an aggro deck. Loleth troll and dredge mangled are your only aggro creatures, if you want to go GB aggro I'd recommend looking at the mono black lists and splashing green.

Way to suggest non standard cards. But onto the deck why not just call it gb dredge because that's what your playing here, a sub par version but I wont go into that now. Calling this deck aggro is a bit misleading, itisn't really an aggro deck if your using spells like grisly salvage to pump your creatures. When I was playing this deck you never won the match quickly it was a lot of set up to get your loleth troll big.

I'm not a fan of heliod, so I'd drop him. Also pain seer for some extra cards. Im running a similar version but white is my splash color so I can play thoughtseize and duress and all those good black spells.

Elspeth couldn't hit turn 3, at max you'd only have 3 devotion on the field. For our his deck all it really does is get in the way of hitting double white on turn 2. Now mutavaults would be a nice addition before they rotate out.

Where's the red dictate for double damage. If your playing reckoner you might as well at least play it as a one of it'll make warleaders helix hit for 16.

I don't see a combo in this deck anywhere, it's just synergy if it doesn't win you the game out right.

I don't see many poeple allowing Gary to go back to your hand. 3 life sounds better than the 5-6 hes going to hit for.

My recommendations would be to drop the screechers, crypt ghasts and gray merchants. Move the devour flesh to the sideboard for ultimate price or more banishing lights then drop the current side board the necromancer does nothing for you and debt to the deathless is never going to come. I dont really know what to suggest for replacements, your deck looks like you through random creatures together and put Atheros in. Cartel Aristocrat works well with the necromancer if your running human's but in this deck it feels out of place. Lastly where's obzedat?

It's a legendary that's indestructible, so it won't die as often as others. Plus deicide is around in any sideboard that's got access to white.

So it stalls the game knuntil they hit a banishing light, which won't take long if they're playing the new enchantress. I can't think of a deck that's being played that doesn't have non damage removal (even red is splashing white for exile effects).

They're soldier tokens not humans, unfortunately it won't work.

Why do poeple think he's so great. His ability only triggers if he's dealt damage, so any destroy, sacrifice or exile spell (like most of the ones being played right now) just negates it.
