A little overboard with equipment don't you think? I mean you've got just as much equipment as you do creatures. There will be many hands where all you get and play is equipment and you'll be screwed.

You only get the extra turn if you damage the player. So if they block you, that effect never happens. You are also countin on alot of little 1/1 to sustain you until you can get these two out. It would be rough as you are being attacked and unable to block or it would ruin your goal.

How are you going to block creature attacks? When you play out Jace he is going to be open to attack and you aren't likely to have anything to block. All it takes is one good strike from an unblocked creature and planeswalkers are toast.

I would also ditch Armor of Faith for 4 more creatures or some sort of damaging spells. Enchant Creatures (or Auras) are not very mana efficient. Sure they buff well but if I have a creature destruction spell I've just take out 2 of your cards for the price of one. Global enchantments are better since I couldnt get it too along with said creature.

If their playing casual rules he might be able to play all the hounds at same time. In that case leave them its nice 2/2 for only 1 cost. Otherwise yeah, ditch at least 2 of them as you can only have 1 out at a time.

With 72 cards your chance of drawing those 6 required cards is astronomical.

Only 19 lands in 68 cards? That is barely a 25% chance at drawing a land. Also you don't seem to have very much in the way of creature removal through spells. Only 1 enchant/artifact removal through Solemn Offering that I can see. Pretty much your only going to win if you get a land each and every turn and you can nuke them down. But you have far to many high cost creatures to do that effective I think. I'd switch out some of the non-soldiers for flying griffens or angels to defend against air attacks too.

Interesting concept but I'm not sure it will all fit together.

Anyone have an answer or suggestion to my question about using a 1 color deck? I'm curious why nobody uses them much anymore but can't seem to find any real "killers" for it. All the cards like circle of protection are gone in Standard so is there something else that takes their place? In other words, what are people going to pull out of their sideboard for the 2nd and 3rd match that is going to kill a 1 color deck?

Glad it could help. However I'm not sure I would call it advanced. I haven't purchased anything specific for it yet this is just cards I had on hand through buying boosters. I plan on keeping in the angels and a couple fliers to protect against aerial decks but I need to replace the non-flying non-soldier cards with soldier types so that they can all benefit from the upgrades. I'd also like to replace the Holy Strength enchants with Honor of the Pure which is a global enchant for all my creatures instead of Holy Strength just being for a specific one. However those are about $10 a piece and I haven't yet played in a tournament yet to see if I'm going to stick with it.
