My suggestion though, is to get rid of the hammer and put either another burn spell or another good elemental. Attack is great, but sure fire damage is something to be reckoned with. Just a suggestion

I like this deck, I like the fact that it could do so much damage :D And I love elementals most of all :D great deck mate and hell's thunder is my favourite card in this deck, brilliant one mate.

I would add him, but he has no trample, and that's one of two requirements which includes haste :P and he has one, but needs trample to be effective no matter what :P But thank you for the suggestion mate, and its nice to find another lightning lover !!! Lightning burn is the best way to burn :D
how you make your islands and mountains out is actually a bit annoying for a lot of people, just put a proper next to it next time so that it would be easier to see the potential of the deck. I like all your cards that are there to ramp up your mana source, its a bit wide open to a lot of things. Maybe adding different control cards like counter spell, stoic rebutal, counter, any card that can prevent your opponent from building up before you do. Nice deck though :D
well, I am always happy to help anyone who will use red cards, not saying Im a specialist, but I like red cards ^-^ Well trying to do two things at once is very hard, I tried control/ burn with red and white, but I ould never get it right. But the best way to get out the lands you need is to get fetchlands like scalding tarn for red/blue and try to get as many good cards that can use two lands to summon. Like arc trail 1R = you using one blue and one red to cast it. :D Try it out
Now this is a good combination you have here, I enjoy the changes you've made. That instant that adds two soldier tokens is a keeper. And the field Marshall is a better card to have in there. And the arid mesa to speed the deck up is a nice strategy too. nice one mate :D
To make it fast, you need to lower your mana curve, more one costs, try out some cards like perilous myr, goblin gaveleer with some useful equipments. Then you can make this faster, also try arc runner + nim deathmantle combo, or even just use ball lightning + nim deathmantle combo. no spells is fine, but you got to have more hasty creatures
I am very satisfied with the specific combo you are using with the doll, just hitting your own doll must make people think, oh shit, and that shield makes even eviler >: D Love the combo, this is how you burn with artifacts

A metal stompy sounds perfect for etched, especially since it cant be blocked by most anything :D
well, its not meant to gain life, its meant to get out the darksteel awesomeness fairly quickly, and adding colorless lands will affect consistency. But thanks for the suggestion
Well, in case there is a bit of confusion about my comment, Rise of Eldrazi will still be Standard for longer then worldwake, that is where I was coming from.

My good ness man, the knights I get, the Hada free blade I get, hell, exerything makes sense, except the bloody Etched champion, I know its just too awesome, but its going to be hell to get that metalcraft going, never mind keeping that consistent. And even if you just summon it for the hell of it or to get the buffs from the veterans, no one is going to leave that alone, unless youre playing a serious first timer, then the importance compared to your other cards does seem less of a threat, want the champion? get more artifacts in, keep the consistency. If ever you do decide to add more artifacts, keeping in mind that you want white, gold myr is good, darksteel axes are brilliant and they buff up your creatures. If ever you do decide to take out the etched champion and the artifact lands. well obviously the lands with plains or Sejiri Steppe for protection, and Kor Firewalker, at least that gets protection from something.
cut down on creatures, add more burn spells for your kiln fiend, I suspect that you need to take out 3 creatures and add three spells, get some arc trails :D Good deck though man ;D
I am looking through this over and over again, and there is nothing wrong with this deck, this does what it's suppose to, and does it well mate. GREAT JOB ON IT! my only concern is the sideboard, put combust, thats all, for those white/blue annoyances

well its mostly for creatures, but I see your point, but then again, you do have proliferate, and I saw a guy made a mega beat down with only one time poison counter, and mega proliferate :P
