That sucks ... I am looking for an online MTG player ...

I know it exist 'cause I have seen Wizards employees give example matches with it.

Gnat Miser is nasty.

Pharika's Chosen and Typhoid Rats are nastier.

Gravecrawler is quite possibly the nastiest.

Wow ... Friday Night Magic pickings must be pretty slim where you live. Seattle is an epicenter of Magic, so I have all the competition I need. Thanks for the offer though!

Um ... no offense, but just look here. I already posted a massive comment on that other guy's deck.

If you want black card suggestions, here they are:

Aqueous Form + instant/sorcery with cipher. Nuff said.

If you want a deckbuilding suggestion, here it is - listen to these songs while working:

Me gusta! I suggest taking out the dragons for ixidron - he is very powerful when dropped on turn 5, almost a win-con. Aqueous form would complete the madness.

Kira, Great Glass Spinner is a great way to protect your illusion creatures, probably in conjunction with Lord of the Unread. If you want some lulz ... hit an illusion you control with Mirrorweave and shoot Emkral in the face with an Unsummon.

If you want to build on that unblockable theme ... Phantom Warrior. Bring along some Hands of Binding, Hidden Strings,

Phantasmal Image is devastating in this deck. Why not bring along MORE clone shenanagins? Cackling Counterpart, Cryptoplasm, Dance of Many, Followed Footsteps, Eternal Dominion (combo with aether vial, but something else is needed ... show and tell =) ), Fated Infatuation, Stolen Identity, and Tempt with Reflections.

Oh, and you should really listen to this playlist (no it's not a Rick Roll):

Look what the the random card button turned up the first time I clicked it! A phantom-warrior ... last time this happened, one of my decks took off. Take this as a sign!

And just so you know, making this comment was REALLY fun for me ... I think it is time I made a clone deck!

Well, I am sorry to say it Kazzong, but the only way to avoid being surprised by new rules changes (or rules in general) is to completely and constantly check for judge rulings on specific cards or rules updates. I have read most of the rule book, since that's how I learned to play standard; The only other rulebook I had was from way back ... anyone remember Arabian Nights? It took a while ...

On the bright side, I play very "properly" and my friends usually can't pull shenanagins on me - except for: ceaselessly asking me "is it my turn" during my upkeep, so if I say "yes" I forfeit my entire turn. Such a dirty trick ... expect it from Dimir players =).

And you guys should listen to this playlist if you like electronic music, maybe even if you don't:

And no that's not a Rick Roll.

No ... this sacrifice is from a triggered ability, so Angel of Jubilation can't prevent it. Also, since it's triggered, the sac is not technically part of a cost either.

Yup ... and even if you cast it, the illusion dies. Lord's hexproof is no use. You have to make it indestructible somehow.

It would be sacrificed when unsummon was cast and it was targeted. Then the unsummon would resolve, but have no target and simply be discarded.

You mean, other than power of fire. Well, Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker might work =).

Yes, of course! Hmm ... maybe sun titan, Order of Whiteclay, Proclamation of Rebirth, Tethmos High Priest, or Unearth.

Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker.

Of course, then having 1 drops is paramount; goblin arsonist, grull draz Vampire, etc.

Those backup strategies are really a good idea, especially against the tribal decks you are playing.

Fastbond IS ramp, since it allows you to play more than 1 land - 1 mana a turn. It's a very powerful card, but it fits more into Golgari in my mind. People tend to avoid cards with even slight negatives, so I am happy that you do see it's use in combo decks. I really was just using it for an example.

Hey, I do that too! I'm working on a budget vampire-goblin shaman deck.

Dang. You hit the nail on the head.

I agree ... you need the big guns. If you are concerned about mana, green has non-elf ramp. Fastbond, for one. Or you could enchant your lands. Just a suggestion to speed the deck up a little.
