I like the idea of precinct as well.

Nice only 2 cards more to cut. I'd cut 2 boros charm. You Have Legion's initiative to save from wipes anyway, and by the time you want to use boros charm, you should have pulled one even if you only play 2.

I'm also wondering if it would be worth perhaps dropping the Pyromancer actually.. I mean you only run (8) 6 spells that will trigger it. Then you could add 2 more horses 1 more Anger of the gods (you will need that sweeper on turn 3-4) and the one Heliod's spear I mentioned earlier, or maybe Heliod himself :D

Hey Poet, it's been a while :D

This looks like a very promising deck (as usuall with you).

If I'd come with a suggestion I'd say drop one Revelation and get a Lazav in there perhaps?
Also you might want Negate in the sideboard to stop Heroe's downfall on your PW's.

Nice seeing your brew again :D

I got a similar brew in my deck list, I really like the interaction with Sanguine Bond :D

I am working on a similar brew, but just like mine, this will have no chance against mono red or gruul or anything else remotely fast :/

Without Mutilate, Dimir is pretty screwed it feels like :/

OK, so I would skip the Heroic mechanic for this idea, so Phalanx and Anax can go, as well as Coordinated assault. Run 4 of Battle driver and Pyromancer. Maybe add a Heliod's Spear and a couple of Akroan Horses? :)

I see your point, but at the same time I can't help feeling that Mill is underrated. Even if you don't win by Milling it is still "removal"

I agree, Traumatize is way better then Mindgrind. I experimented with both for quite a while, and if you cast mind grind on 5 (3 lands) you'll usually not mill more than 12-15 cards while traumatize is guaranteed at least 20

Looks nice, maybe get 2 traumatize in instead of the Grisly salvage? I understand the value of the salvage, but on the other hand, half opponents deck in one go will give a lot of food for your ooze and shaman as well as turning the aberration huge.

I so badly want a deck like this to work, at least for FNM.
I've been experimenting a lot my self with similar decks and Lazlav is proving to be quite nice. I'd switch the 2 pilfered plans for 2 Laz.
Also maybe drop a jace or something for 1-2 traumatize?

Type your deck name...I tried this thoroughly yesterday with a friend. I faced a speedy Boros deck, a G/R Werewolf, a B/U Control and a R/B Control. I went a total of 19 wins 2 losses. These were not bad decks, all but the werewolf deck were deffo high tier FNM decks.

What I love with this deck so far is the versatility of it, I need to try it vs Bant Control though, because I think if the control is lockdown and not killing sweepers I will have a much harder time.

I also think I need to enhance my sideboard.. Maybe try having a sideboard that takes the take further into lategame..

Any suggestions are welcome.

Added reckoners, I'm missing one, but the deck is preforming very very well at FNM.
Will try to get more feedback on it and see if I can improve it further. Looks like there might be some goodies coming with Dragons Maze :D
