i would probably advise taking out perilous myr for either plague myr or contagion clasps. other than that looks pretty solid.

persist doesn't work with melira, sorry. melira states that creatures cannot have counters PLACED on them. if it was stated like getting the -1/-1 counter was a trigger effect ("when it comes into place, put a -1/-1 counter on it") then it would work (due to when, it becomes an enter the battlefield and happens after the card enters the battlefield and uses the stack). unfortunately it says, "return it to play under its owner's control WITH a -1/-1 counter on it". this means that the counter is not placed on the creature, but it is inherit of the card and does not use the stack. this is similar to Etched monstrosities static ability,"Etched Monstrosity enters the battlefield WITH five -1/-1 counters on it".
Maybe beastmaster ascension
rapacious one was a contender for a spot in the deck, but his mana cost is really restrictive. skirk prospector seems good, so i'll test him.
also there are no man-lands for W/R
normally i would agree, but this deck really needs to have it's lands come into untapped. i appreciate the advice anyway.
i believe you may be right on this one. added in pyroclasm and silence. thanks for the advice.
was thinking about shroud but not sure how to do it. as for the darksteel relics, i'm not totally convinced that i need to steal artifacts. on the goblin assults, i think your right about them, i'll add them in right now.
made one of these a while back (although i like yours much better). never knew about show and tell.
Cytoplast manipulator is awesome with the dude and entomb is pretty good too. shambling shell and life from the loam are cheap ways to get stuff in your grave, as is fauna shaman, which is probably the biggest inclusion i could think of.
i originally had it in but had to take it out for challenge
it comes into play as a copy of that creature. if you look at the wordings of the cards, they state,"____ comes into play with X +1/+1 counters". since the mimeoplasm comes into play as copy of the creature, it gets the +1/+1 counters when it enters the battlefield.
i looked at it again and decided you're right. i put in the masticore and redcap is awesome.
i can't think of anything to else say but good job (and synonyms of said phrase)!
I've been aiming at using phyrexian unlife for awhile now and i can't decide whether to play it with melira or soul conduit. i've been leaning towards the conduit (my brother played with the combo at the prerelease and it looked really fun) and i'll probably use this as a rough skeleton of the one i make. one suggestion i have is adding a treasure mage or two to help guarantee getting the conduit. another thing you might want to add is everflowing chalice. anyway, good job on the deck!
to help keep my elf and nexus in play. groundswell doesn't protect against most black removal or lightning bolt (if on my opponents turn), an it doesn't protect my nexus from tectonic edge. for one to three mana in all those situations vines of vastwood protects the guys i need to start the deck.
loving this one. the enchanted anvil is somthing i never think to put in my lux decks. the urzas are nice too (although you could add expedition map). this is an awesome deck.
overall a good deck. i haven't thought of black lux cannon yet. a couple of suggestions: unwinding clock, surge node, throne of geth, and myr superions don't need to be 4-ofs. you could take some of the copies of each (keep at least 2) for cards like everflowing chalice, and plague myr. in fact you could make an infect deck out of this.
in real life -1 contagion engine -1 eternity vessel -2 contagion clasps -2 surge node +4 tezzeret's gambit +2 myr superion
yeah I've been thinking about that, but idk what to take out (b/c of the challenge). in real life, i'd take out the clasps, engine, vessel, and node for 4 gambits and 2 of something else (arbor elf maybe).
