personally i think the transmuter is convenient just because i can tap 1 and her and put in say enigma sphinx or sharding early game

i dropped the enigma down 1 and the metallurgen and in place put 3 path to exiles

completely drop blue from your deck, your dragging yourself down just using hederon crab
drop scapeshift that'll free up amulet of vigor too so you'll have 7 slots open, landfall isn't strong enough for extended, add scute mob and rampaging baloths for end game and use ruin ghost

drop thrumming stone, you already have cascade and mishra, that'll drop you to 63 and drop your land, you have 27, definitely unnecessary

drop pyromancer ascension, very rarely can you get it fully charged, add ball lightning ele appeal and hell's thunder

reduce your field clearing spells, you have 4 pyroclasm, 4 chain reaction, and 2 earthquake, just use earthquake

i have a red blue spell deck on my profile, check it out, it deals 20 damage out by t4 or 5

Even if the jwari shapeshifter comes in without the counters, she still buffs all allys you control and on top of that, you can copy say a kazul warlord which costs converted 5 for only 2 mana

personally i think you would do better even using cascade with kabira evan to hope you get an ally for protection from the spells color

I still think you may want to implement at least lightning bolt again flying because that could easily be the end of you

hagra diabolist is convenient with the cascading to an ally, i would probably drop him to up survivalist and kazuul and the spell base is just for a diverse play, keeping me as the player entertained as it takes another 2 or 3 times for my turn to roll around again after all my friends :P

maybe switch dispel and hindering light for a different spells because as an aggro deck you're not trying to control

i would switch umara raptor for seascape aerialist and the loremaster for ondu cleric

I made a deck like this, it's definitely not tournament quality but really fun, it relys on amulet of vigor for the land base (otherwise it's a bit of a downer) and uses cascade to bring out ally's, it's also 5c, check it out you might get some ideas

i'm guessing you're going for a mill / exalted strategy, interesting. maybe consider using kabira eva for protection to get kazandu in there to get a good hit in

only issue i see is the speed, the milling is based on your allies, maybe consider using hindering light over spell pierce, and possibly using a traumatize for some initial mill damage

yea, that's where i found the biggest issue, i only have 1 tap and sac for blue, i don't want my mana pool working against me ( red VS blue ) because ball lightning and ele appeal run pure red but twincast and double neg run 2 blue, slightly difficult. any ideas for a revision?

i've played this deck a few times and it is really fast as is, and i personally feel quest for pure is stronger than the zekter because it's t5 when i get a 7/1 assuming the enchantment lives where quest is turn 3 or 4, both or good, i just personally like quest for pure flame better

mind rot, mind sludge, raven's crime, mind shatter?

you have nyxathid. obviously you want him as strong as possible, why do you have no discard spells?

unless you intend on killing the players with 2/2's and not buffing nyxathid to his maximum strength

also, why are you using siege gang commander and bloodghast? i don't understand
and why aren't you using hypnotic specter? he's possibly the strongest discard creature out there, the "at random" effect makes him the strongest out of all the creatures

discard decks typically aren't aggro based, and personally i think you're going for too many strategies

Here's the real reason why they use fetch lands in vampire decks.

Ex.
Opponent at 10 life.
You're going to die next turn.

On the field you have Vampire Nocturnus, Blood Ghast and Gate Keeper of Malakir.
The opponent has 3 blockers, none with flying.

UPKEEP, draw.. then the ENTIRE GAME LIES IN NOCTURNUS' NEXT FLIP.
your top card is a land. your vampires do not gain +2/+1 and flying.
it's all over.... WAIT! you have a fetch land! OMG! there's still a chance!!!!
You tap and sac for a swamp... shuffle your library, flip the new top card of your library and it's black!! OMG! you win.

that's why.

timewarp = the lul.

consider elemental appeal, ball lightning, and hell's thunder. they really do some heavy damage drop blue draw cards up twin cast, you're in it for speed not to beat around the inevitable

look at my profile, i have this exact deck, it deals 20 damage by turn 5

bitterblossom for 1/1 spam
add red for dragon fodder and goblin assault and terminate
drop diabolic intent and tutor

4 nantuko
2 phyrexian ghoul
Cemetary reaper (tokens) or death baron (death touch) these zombies both buff your nantuko and phyrex
then whatever else you like

yea there's no point to have cancel over double negative and that's exactly what i was thinking sweetbrains

the creatures are the only thing i was worried about, however they hold up strong in early game, 3 mana tops for 4 or 6 damage early on and then 3/1 trample unearth, they're basically spells

The zombies idea is interesting, i do agree with aether though, you may want to consider switching them out, go less theme base, you don't see good decks running any theme
grixis tends to use a lot of control, maybe consider kederekt creeper, night hawk, and sphinx

cruel ultimatum is definitely a must, i didn't believe it was worth the cost but by all means it can win you the game

take a look at my grixis prime deck, you might get some ideas, i play control unearth, it's a very powerful 1v1 deck
