Ah, forgot to look at the sideboard... That changes things. Looks like it would run pretty well :) if you have time could you look at mine? http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=350136

If you use any special land, it should be inkmoth nexus. :)
Well at this point you only have geistflames in the red mana section. I would either take out red completely or add in flayers of the hatebound and other good red cards for the mechanic, like fling and hound of griselbrand. Otheerwise I like the changes. :) mikaeus makes me wish I ran black in my undying deck lol
This guys a rebel. Check this description and you'll know what I mean. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=350136 But anyway, really cool deck, I like the concept a lot.
Great idea, I'll definitely have to order them. :)
The sad part is that I completely agree with them....... But thanks me too!
Thanks, you're right, it would. If I can get my hands on either of those I'll add them in. :)
You should be scared, it's great and always kills my undying deck. Its just way too fast. He has safe passages too, and those stop my combos completely and let him spare from evil for the kill very often.
$4.14? Want.
You have enough humans that give you crazy benefits, and if your flayer kills my flayer, ill be pissed :p but I think you need more fodder creatures like doomed traveller (just an example) It seems like most of your cards like when people die, but for them to be effective you need just as many cards that actually like to die themselves. Nice deck though, can't wait to beat it >:)
I'd like to see that. Undying is my favorite mechanic and a lot of your decks are very impressive, so I'd be interested in what you manage to do with it now. :)
Me likey. If you cut it down to under 65 cards, me likey more. I'd appreciate comments on any of my decks as well, in addition to my custom deck box post on the vault forums under general discussion.
I think you can do better than kabira vindicator... Your cards may be indestructible because of the exemplars, but level counters can still be removed. I would throw in cheaper creatures like more Knight of the meadowgrain, and sideboard for white Knight and silver Knight against certain decks.
Mayor of avabruck would kick ass in this deck with a few immerwolves. Maybe them instead of rot wolf
Very interesting deck, I like it a lot. If you get bored with it, you could splash red for act of treason type cards. I'm not really saying that would make it better, but I often get bored with decks and like to change them up. Thought you might be the same way
I would take your advice if those cards weren't from the SoM block, but thanks :) and I tried running two gutter grimes and they weren't as frequent as I wanted. The whole time running 2 I don't think I drew it at all lol
I agree, and thank you, it's much appreciated. As soon as I'm done adjusting this deck I'll head over and look at yours.
This deck seems to have a lot of cards that don't necessarily tie in to the mechanic, like thrun and the birds of parades.. if I'm wrong and they have a strategic purpose, please tell me. If I'm right, I think you should put in more undying specific cards. I run a good, cheap undying deck if you want to look at it for any red and green undying suggestions. Also, vorapede (which I don't use because it's toughness is too high for my rolling temblor combo) might be a fantastic addition. As far as black cards go, I would really focus on creatures. The demon from The slaughterhouse intro pack (forget his name...) would be great. Hope I helped. :)
If you want creatures in your graveyard, why have young wolf? You'd have to kill him twice to get the benefits...
I know exactly what you mean Tim. My best deck is only $14.38, and it's also my cheapest. It works well and gets the job done against most standard decks. I want to have fun and win, not channel a hundred bucks into something that's going to be cycled out soon enough. The price makes me respect this deck even more.
