1) Basically, you play an Island, then you play nothing else for the rest of the game. 2) Watch your opponent squirm so much by having no clue what pain you're about to bring down on him that he scoops... :)

testing this system
lets try that again!
...Really? :\
The problem with using this method to get to the homepage is that rather than getting people commenting on your deck and being helpful you end up just getting comments about cheating... :P
It is amazing... that I messed up a tiny thing when making the ratings system that allows people to abuse it. :P
Congratulations on your 100th deck, from what I see you're a fantastic member of the community and a credit to this website, well done! :)
My first guess is that the deck was actually popular before we put the top decks live. I calculated decks current scores based on the likes/comments/quality etc the deck had already earned and if this meant the deck was made popular then it would go on the top decks list... only problem with this is that first list was then ordered by score, highest first so yours may well have not been on the homepage. Unfortunately a deck can only be made popular once, so yes the decks like this one that were made popular before the new top decks page went live will be casualties of war and never get to the homepage.
I strongly suggest you stop cheating.
Fantastic deck for those on a budget. It never gets boring to see one of these beating a $300 "all singing, all dancing" deck! Good job! :)
Cheating your decks to the homepage will not be tolerated, please stop or I will remove them from both here and Upcoming.

Right there with you... We were thinking maybe we could use this "rep" to weight the votes somehow also, the better the user, the more their vote is worth in the grand scheme of things. This would stop multi-accounts because their votes would be worth very little compared to proper accounts that would've picked up rep along their longer lives. Just an idea at the moment. :)
I had this idea also, the only problem is it would just be a list of the fake/multi account cheaters and unfortunately they don't care who can see those accounts anyway...
Unfortunately it seems we've failed to fix this issue twice now and despite our best efforts to solve the problem we still have users that are abusing the system. We've found it difficult to implement a voting system where other users can directly gain from other's losses. Voting systems on shops or movie/game review sites have it easy because people will give a true vote based on how they feel about the product/movie/game and they have no incentive to vote outside of these feelings. On Vault we have given people a prize for being voted higher than other people and inevitably whenever there is competition there will be cheaters that will ruin it for everybody. We're looking into this (AGAIN) and seeing if we can come up with something to fix this once and for all. All I can do is apologise to the non-cheaters and urge you to continue using the site in a mature and productive way; win with honour!
It does indeed! I used to run it differently all the time though, taking things out, adding things in etc. It always seemed to work no matter how many cards it had; 60, 62, 64, whatever! ;)
Glad to hear it, I kinda forgot to mention we'd even launched it! :P
First nested comment ever!

Heh, thanks for working on the premade decks for me, appretiate it. To everybody who doesn't know, check out the forums, I'm asking people to help me get all the premade decks into mtgvault so we can eventually quick link to them from the menu for people who may be interested. Please don't shout at the people helping me do it! ;)
