Love your deck. Armada Wurm definately be good, but I feel like Sublime is more my style. I generally play very aggressively unless I'm against control. Then I just pop out a threat at a time to attempt to "outrun" the answers, lol. It works a good 65% of the time. *shrugs*

You have far too many cards in the deck for constructed. A core principle of any card game is that the less cards you have the better. Why? Because you get to what you need faster.
http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=382445 Thanks to anyone who takes a look! Btw, it's a standard deck.
Most seem to like it but it's over hyped. It's going to suck in my opinion, but I could be wrong. Dredge was a great mechanic, but most self mill is OP by design. BG had it's time to shine, but now is not that I don't believe.
Yeah, all of this is so useless I wouldn't even waste the lighter fluid to burn them. Maybe like... Flush them in a toilet.. and that's more than they deserve.
http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=382445 Right here. Seems to be working pretty good right now. It's pretty much what it's going to look like very soon because of the shocklands.
Yeah, I found out blossoms is the same card, but I'd probably play both myself haha. Never can have enough draw. I gave this comment to another guy, and I copied and pasted if for you too lol... >_> I didn't really notice you were playing multi colors. It's a shame you don't like planeswalkers because they are pretty op, and it's a good feeling to get that last ability triggered. :P
I'm revisiting this deck idea again. I like most of your suggestions, but I'll be adding in four Forbidden Alchemy somewhere instead of Divination. Much better..... Much more..... Forbidden....
So, I'm using my five hour energy bottles to break dance against each other. Pretty awesome stuff.
I second most of these card choices. Beowulf has the right idea, and I'd definitely take the time to seriously consider most of what he's offered. Something I always offer to white players is the Ajani Goldmane + Wall of Reverence combo. Read Ajani Goldmane's third ability, and then read Wall of Reverence. Seeing as you already have Pariah in the deck, you should consider Cho-Manno, Revolutionary. He's simply awesome with Pariah.
I don't own this deck. I just made a rendition of it for a quick reference whenever I can get some of these on the side. It's main purpose is consistency, and steadiness, versus what you will find in tournament based decks. It's mainly going to be used to teach people with. It has a variety of mechanics, can win games, and above all else isn't high dollar. Really the only requirements I had for the deck when I was thinking to make it. haha The only really high cost card is Sublime, and she's not required at all in this power playing style. :P
Eliytres, post the links to your decks. It makes it easier on other members to get to your deck quickly. Most of use, or at the very least, I am very lazy. So, directing us to exactly what you want us to look at with it being just a click away will probably give you better results in comments and rates. Just a tip. GW - Sneaky Blinkster - Welcome to all suggestions. (Standard) :] http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=382445
Use Quillspike! :] It gets much beefy-er than Hex much quicker, but is counter active with Melira. Just a thought. :P
Looks like crap. Look up Caw-Blade and that's pretty much a very good build for what your doing.
As I was taught you go through DEBT when dealing with protection. Damage - All damage from the protected color(s) is prevented. Equip - The protected card cannot be equipped with the protected color(s). Block - The protected card cannot be blocked by the protected color(s). Target - The protected card cannot be targeted by card(s) with the protected color(s). Progenitus - Protection from everything (You can mill him, but that's about it). Etched Champion - When his ability is active, he's a prime example of this acronym. Why Emerakul can be targeted by creature abilities is a permanent is no longer just a spell after it resolves. It's whatever types it is from the time of resolving forward. I.E. Gideon's Lawkeeper isn't a "spell" after it's already on the field. Thought I'd elaborate a bit on this; a lot of people seem to wonder about protection in general.
I agree with this. Not only that, Geistflame is terrible removal. It's just terrible. It might pop off there weenies or mana dorks early on, but I just don't see it worth the space. In place of it you could play something like Burning Oil that is just plain awesome for your deck. Other really good options you haven't capitalized on is Magmaquake, and Devil's Play.
That's why you pick them up now on pre-sale. They are all doing really good on price. Got a play set of Detention Orb for $23.55, and playset of Precinct Captain for $10. Pretty good deals seeing as I for see the Orbs being at least $10 ea, and the Captain are projecting for $3-4 ea, but I have a really good feeling about them. Either way it's still not a bad deal. I want to get the shocklands, but there soooo high. $80 just to get the colors I need, and if I really want optimal it's $160 on three color decks. It's a nasty pricetag for lands, but there always high.
1) Add Ajani Goldmane to this deck. Two just because it's good, and it's last ability. 2) Add Ajani Vegenant. Two. 3) Wall of Reverence. Four of them. 4) Wall of Omens. Four of them. 5) Traproot Kami. Four of them. Would be a fun deck to play! :D This is just what I know I would do. Adding these cards gives you some seriously strong life gain, and land destruction. Traproot is damn near one of the best walls I've seen, and Wall of Omens is two for a 0/4 wall (great!), and you draw a card? Definitely a must add.
Death Cloud -does- make me giddy. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=382445
This argument is pretty solid, and makes valid points. You don't remove something post play, because if you -need- to their is something you didn't do correctly in the first place. If it wasn't a threat and was pushed into the yard already, then what is the problem with them getting it back? Big deal. Geralf's Messenger is ONE trigger. 2 LIFE. Thragtusk's body, token, and life gain all answer him adequately, and if your playing Blink like I am, two/three Thragtusk triggers in a row is pretty damn hard to get past for any player. Golgari will have the advantage of bigger creatures, but that all comes at a cost for them. Playing Lotleth Troll, and dumping literally the entire hand to pump him to a 7/6, and say realistically Scavenging with one, maybe two Slitherhead's, well, what I have to say to players that think that's a good idea before they even really know what colors there opponent is playing is going to be a serious laugh for your opponent watching you top deck for two turns or more while he beats you in the face after that Dreadbore. If you have more than 10 life left be glad your opponent sucks. Is it a tough card. Yes. Serious problem on turn two? Could be. Serious problem beyond turn two? No, I doubt it. By Mid-game the card itself won't even have value because you'll have to way overextend to make him useful, and by then detaining it will be done with ease. The thing with Golgari is they won't have many of these brutes to spare, and between a counter, and two detains there won't be much wiggle room for Golgari's plays, and honestly people aren't looking at Jarad hard enough or something. He is the real threat in the deck if you ask me, and a major one, yet the market is flooded with his decks still. Just last night their was still a full stand of Izzet vs Golgari dualdecks at walmart. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=382445 - Ethanlewis - You seem like a really good player. I'd like for you to check out my blink style deck, and give me your input on how you integrate another color? Blue, and red are the two I'm most interested in, but I feel detain is going to help out more than red will on it's own, especially with the exalted.
