Yea I will give that a shot and see how it runs. Definitely needs some playtest. Look forward to seeing your list.

yea which you may be right. Sucks spending 3 mana to go get another one instead of spending it on a threat or something. Probably super situational. if I take that out maybe add what else as another one of. A sword or forge maybe, or maybe have a 4th auriok main.
The deck is heavily built around it being used of course. Preboard enchantment removal isn't super popular. Really abrupt decay in the meta for modern is all that could hit it really. But that's where the ramp comes in, so dropping the birds makes it harder for me to continue out my plays. Need the extra mana to drop a sword and be able to equip it without the sigarda's aid. Plus a sword on a birds of paradise isn't bad at all. My only flyer to help in the skies.
not sure if I can throw the tutor away. Need that "5th" sigarda's aid so I can see or be able to have a back up in case it gets destroyed. Helps me statistically against maybe an abrupt decay, or a counter spell if I can't get it to resolve.
I really thought about kor, double strike is ridiculous for an immediate euip. I just have no idea what I would exchange for it and if he's really viable. I try to have most of my creatures able to somewhat protect themselves in someway, but that of course is pretty difficult but aurioks champion is amazing for it! Should I maybe drop to 2 birds, 3 mirran crusaders, and maybe a sword for 3 kor duelist?
I am questioning tarmogoyf in this deck. I wonder if something else main board would be better like ethersworn. Would love to hear from the community
I have also thought of adding maybe knight of the reliquary to the list as well. maybe he is a better beat down and he can fetch ruins if need be but artifact hate especially preboard doesn't seem super relevant anyway.
hopefully they unban stoneforge mystic soon!
My abrupt decay I kept at 3 with snapcaster I get multiple uses so I kept it at 3 so I could fit other stuff. I played this last week and went 5-1 with it. Lost to nahiri. I have 3 remands play and for a tempo match they are fantastic. They have won me some games. I just hate not having more mana leaks.
Do ya'll think kalita's is worth it in this deck or should I play another 4 drop in instead?
Appreciate it! Yea the card is really interesting especially with some delve creatures. Hope it turns out as good as I think!
No you can get them with any of the creatures. Eldritch Evolution reads As an additional cost to cast Eldritch Evolution, sacrifice a creature. Search your library for a creature card with converted mana cost X or less, where X is 2 plus the sacrificed creature's converted mana cost. Put that card onto the battlefield, then shuffle your library. Exile Eldritch Evolution. So it just goes in the "X or less" category.
I am not as concerned with that since I run 3 chord of callings, so getting the 4 isn't bad but having a cheap undying peace to match the persist combo makes him easy to hit with coco or even easy for a chord if needed. The 2 viscera seers may not be anough, but a lot of the coco abzan companies run 2 viscera seer and sometimes I see 3 with that being the only sac outlet.
Made a couple of changes to the deck. What you think?
That's what I noticed as well. I don't believe it is an improvement on the abzan coco that is currently floating. I thought about changing some creatures around to just meet the opposition of persist and undying trigger. IDK if this deck is possible to make viable really or not, but I saw the connection with the 2 and it seemed really fun. I wanna try to mess around with the creature base a lot more to see what I can get. and Geralf isn't to hard to get out honestly. I did a proxy run with this deck and the urborgs fetches, and birds of paradise make him a pretty easy drop. Worst thing though for this deck is blood moon by a lot.
oh duh that's right. That combo is ridiculous/
What's the infinite combo?
oh that one sounds interesting. I wasn't familiar with that one. kiki and sun titan just seemed like a good combo. I was just worried about how vulnerable it might be.
I am really likeing the blue with hedron crab and prized amalgams being run. It seems really fun.
A three cost planeswalker with hand disruption and sac a creature is just super powerful in modern. Her ult isn't really anything special. Its good If you're exceptional at dividing up an opponents resources. But her +1 and -2 are really good. Her hand disruption especially for this deck is awesome. I can drop stuff in my grave and she can get rid or limit answers for my opponent or help keep a clear board state.
