Ah, wasn't commenting about difficulty to summon. I meant that having a commander with all five colors allowed you to put in all five of the myojin in the deck.

Ah, I see your point on alara. Just have it in to get all the colors for your myojin combo eh? Fine by me. Still, I hate when that happens, misread a card effect and all.
Nice, but there are some mistakes here too. when you use double season with twwt, it doesn't give you two indestructible permanents, because it says if you're placing counters on permanents, then place twice as many counters on that card, not to choose a new target for the counter. Also (I don't play commander, so correct me if I'm wrong here) from what I understand, when your commander, child of alara, dies, it goes back to the command zone instead of the graveyard, so it's effect is meaningless if that's the case, but I may be wrong here However, you could put in something like cromat (not too many rainbow commanders out there...) Still, I love the myojin combo that you have here! Looks like it'd be fun to play against!
Thanks, and I agree about the metal craft, I just put dispatch in there because it just costs one mana to tap a creature.
:D Sure hope that they do scour over sites like this for that reason, that would be awesome if they did a set that focused more on them since their effects are usually pretty good! Still, kind of doubt it since the whole Japanese theme was "taken care of" in the Kamigawa cycle. Le sigh.
Yes, I use it all the time! That's where I found Vela and vedalken ghoul. I also used it to search for ninjas... so few were found. D:
True, I do like the idea of an infect card, since contagion engine and clasp can't give -1/-1 counters to new creatures. What do you think I should take out for him though?
Proliferate is actually a great effect for this deck. Can use it to spread the -1/-1 counters, but there's more too LOTS MORE. Charge counters for darksteel reactor, study counters for grimoire of the dead, phylactery counters for phylactery lich, level counters for null champion, +1/+1 counters from havengul runebinder and grave betrayal... Btw, thanks for showing me the slight typo in the description, meant to say counters, not tokens. Lol.
yeah, I was disappointed with how few cards there are ninja wise (who knows, there might be more, but how will we see them???), so I was forced to bolster the ranks some other cards, which improved the deck a lot in my opinion. especially storestalker, Vela, and vedalken ghoul.
Great suggestions! Thanks!
that's what training grounds does, heartstone has a higher CMC and reduces effect cost by less.
Nice! Like that idea! But ensnare is in there to stop an opponent from attacking, that way I don't have to chose between losing life or blocking with creatures necessary for the combos, so it stays.
good lord! Midnight guard equipped with elemental mastery, that's a gamewinner. Seriously, infinite tokens with haste! Nasty for a budget deck.
Very nice, I like how they all buff each other, looks pretty effective. Still, I shall never fear your army of midgets! Seriously though, nice.
Yeah, dragonmaster outcast and dragonspeaker are cool, but of the three kargan dragonlord was my favorite, since he could get to be a powerful dragon if he survived long enough.
Eh? I just looked at it, and I swore it said when it comes into play. One of us is hallucinating sir. I'm not entirely sure which one it is though. (suspiciousness ensues). Anyways, yes, putrefy is amazing. Used to have 4 asphyxiate in there, but putrefy is much better. Lol, I remember one of my friends refused to duel against that deck because I used asphyxiate religiously and he hated it. When I replaced it I told him that I took it out, he agreed to duel once another friend confirmed that he couldn't find any in the deck. He was so pissed at putrefy, I laughed so hard when he realized what happened.
Hm, I see now. Lol, I love it when my friends freak out when I get a scary looking creature and do everything in their power to kill it, giving me time to set up the real nightmare. By the way, sacking farhaven elf doesn't reactivate the effect. It says when it comes into play, not when it comes onto the battlefield. Still, good looking deck!
I agree, dragon hatchling doesn't do much for me either. I'd suggest dragonmaster outcast, to keep spawning powerful dragons each turn, dragonspeaker shaman to get dragons out easier, and kargan dragonlord, who can get to be a powerful card if you level him up enough.
Good idea with lightning greaves and paradise mantle, I like it! But I'm keeping conflagrate in because once I get infinite mana I can kill everything, not just one person with it. Even if conflagrate is countered, it has flashback, and the infinite draw can make that lethal too.
