Ral zarek and tamiyo would be really nice in here.

I'd suggest impact tremors, it's a mini purphoros for just two mana.
Agreed, but I think that it was posted solely to point out the combo idea rather than to offer it as a viable deck in anything other than a casual setting.
It mana ramps on turn one so that it can play a lot of things, then uses search cards to get tendrils of agony out and plays it after having played a whole bunch of other stuff, and the storm ability copies it however many times you played something before. Play nine things before casting tendrils, and it's game. Not easy to do and requires a really good hand, but really fun when you get it.
I like it!
I don't like not getting the extra turn from casting emrakul by using quicksilver amulet, or any of the other eldrazi effects that I get from casting them, but it would be a good card to have when mana ramp was running strangely low.
Love the genesis wave idea! Only problem I have with cutting soul of the harvest is that he allows me to keep getting additional cards in my hand and I get to keep playing things with all the mana that I can get from my creatures. Unfortunately to make it modern legal I'd have to cut priest of titania, which is a really good card and that would slow the deck down by a lot.
Some of those singles are good, but yeah, here they don't really serve much of a purpose.
Most important thing right now will be to cut the fat. Try REALLY hard to get this down to 60 cards that consist of the absolute best that you have in here, it will help a lot in consistency and make it much stronger. The easiest things to cut right now would be xathrid gorgon, warclamp mastiff, seraph of dawn, Duskmantle prowler, mark of the vampire, erase, vampire nighthawk, servant of nefarox, 10 lands, gruesome deformity, and one murder. Some of these cards are good, but some sacrifices must be made. Also, you might want to look at trying to fit in Akrasan squire and mortify. Like the use of vault of the archangel in here, I think I'm going to try that in my exalted deck!
Titan's strength and Assault Strobe might be an idea
yeah, good idea, wasn't really liking how magistrate was performing.
Ah, I see. Welp, I'm out of ideas as to what to take out for him in that case. As I said, this looks like a pretty solid build already and I was grasping at straws trying to find something to replace with him, but I really can't find anything... oh well.
Most of my play time is just casual tabletop stuff with my friends, so not really, no.
Ah, now I see what you mean, and yes, that is a really good combo. Might as well run both just because it's edh and it's hard to get just one combo in the deck on the field consistently.
Personally , I'm not terribly impressed with Kor Firewalker or Rending Volley.
Hm, I like Ghor-Clan though, a nice +4/+4 and trample for two mana in early game to get past a chump blocker could be really nice in a fast deck. Honestly, it looks like a pretty solid deck right now and I'm having a really hard time justifying what to take out if anything. Possibly sideboard it against mid game decks I guess.
Ah, now I see what you mean with that one. I thought you meant to attach it to midnight guard. Now that that's cleared up, yes, that is a very good combo. I was just trying to suggest a way of getting a massive amount of tokens out that would capitalize on your commander's abilities. It's up to you the way you run the deck really, mass swarm or mass damage, both would do well in here in my opinion. Run whichever you like best.
Eh, I like viridian longbow because it doesn't unattatch itself from Midnight Guard. And therefor, when you tap him, targeting yourself for damage with viridian longbow, you get one token from Darien, Midnight Guard untaps because a creature entered the battlefield, you tap him again, and repeat the process as much as you want, infinitely even if you have any of the lifegain cards out that I mentioned earlier. With Surestirke Trident you will need to constantly reattach it to him to continue the combo. Granted however, surestrike trident is better for trying to deal damage to your opponent.
I like the looks of this, but the only real problem that I think that this would run into is if someone survived the early game beat down then you might have a problem. These creatures are big for early game, but against mid to late game creatures they're pretty small. Maybe Woolly Thoctar would be nice. Honestly though, I wouldn't know what to take out for him...
A soldier token deck and no Brimaz? Also, one thing that you might want to consider, Midnight guard and Viridian longbow. With your commander out you would be able to create a lot of tokens, and with soul's attendant, suture priest or soul warden out you will have infinite tokens for no real life loss to you.
