Not sure that main board slimes are a good idea, they cost a lot and don't really do much if your oppoenent isn't using enchantments or artifacts.

First of all, this is a fun deck to use a unplayable card in most tournaments. Of course I know there are better drawing cards that are even more effective than Concentrate or Liar's Pendulum. But the this is a fun deck! Like.. umm.. for fun lol First of all, LESS MULTIPLE OF A CARD is BETTER. If you don't believe me, run 4 copy of Liar's Pendulum and 4 copies of each card and see how good you will be at using it. You won't be because even if you draw a card by Liar's Pendulum, it will probably be a copy of a card you already have. Thus, it is harder to lie if you have a pattern of always getting pretty much the same hand as before when you last reveal it. Second of all, in case you missed my deck's point. Here is a more simplified version of this deck Artifacts (6) 2 - Liar's Pendulum 2 - Other 1 cost artifacts 2 - Stuff to help out Chalice Creatures (15) 15 - Wizards Lands (23) 5 - Dual WU Land 12 - Make U Mana Only 5 - Make W Mana Only 1 - Return Wizard Land Spells (16) 4 - Mill 3 - Draw 5 - Counter 2 - Removal 2 - Each player return a creature Basically I win the game by controlling you using Patron Wizard and Aphetto Grifters, use Liar's Pendulum to get me more card advantage. Then Mill you to death with either Archvist Trap (13), Memory Sluice (4 + 4 w/conspire) , or Drowner Inititate (2 for each spell I play), or Raven Guild Master (exile mill for 10 each time it hits you) Remember, my Liar's Pendulum works better if I have less copies of a card because when I reveal my hand a draw a card, the next card will be a different card than last time. Because I have a new card from Liar's Effect instead of another copy of a card I already have, I stand a better chance at using Liar's Pendulum than if I just randomly run 4 copies of each card.
You could do without the Zektar Shrine Expeditions and go along with more creatures. I would also try to reduce the number of these super high costing cards down to maybe 4 or 6because you have no mana acceleration -Rampaging Baloths (No way to help out landfall, mostly likely won't be using its ability much) -Dragon Broodmother (High cost, but still pretty good) -Mycoloth (You don't need to like devour all your tokens when you already could just win with your army of tokens, I would just take this card together) -Howl of the Night Pack (Way too high mana cost, and doesn't really go well with your deck because your not mono-green and running like over 20 forests) So take out a bunch of these high mana creatures and add in more mana acceleration. Your cards like Ant Queen would be a lot more deadlier if you have 8 mana available than if you only have 5 mana available Overall score of deck 2.9/5.0
First of all, the Planeswalkers are not very useful because you will most likely either kill your opponent by the time a Planewalker is cast (which is usually turn 6 or 7 for this deck) or you will have your back against a wall because the other player countered your beatdown plan and playing a Planeswalker would be pretty useless because it will pretty much die the moment you cast it, wasting your mana. 18 Lands is still too little even for a Beatdown deck. Even 20 would be still too little. A good number of lands is 22
I'm not really sure having 1 copy or 2 copy of a card is really that bad. Heck, I even built a deck using 1 copy or 2 copy of a card. If it fits the theme, it's not too bad I would say. (If you don't believe me, check out my Liar's Pendulum Deck for Vintage)
Feel free to post comments here :)
This deck needs more lands... You should at least use 22 lands even if you have Mana Acceleration on an aggressive deck that wants to cast spells fast and overrun your opponent
And Pithing Needle should be a sideboard card, not a main card. You can replace it with any 1 cost white creature if you like
Just some minor edits to make it a bit more efficient. -1 Rustic Clachan -1 Mistveil Plains +2 Plains -1 Armored Ascension -2Triclopean Sight +3 Any double white (WW) Creature
Ok... this deck looks a bit weird but kind of works I guess. It basically kills creatures and attack with your own. So I guess I'll just streamline it a bit more. -1 Steppe Lynx -1 Angel's Mercy -1 Celestial Mantle +2 Swamp +1 Khalni Gem But If your actually trying to win the game by gaining 40 life using Felidar Sovereign. Then we need a lot more editing than that.
I think 4 Mana Leak and 4 Remove Soul should be replaced by 3 Mana Leak 1 Remove Soul and 4 Negate. You have ways to deal with creatures already with Shuriken and your Ninjas, but you have no way to deal with spells so I would put in Negates for Spells. Mana Leak gets weaker later on so that is why only 3 copy of it. Change the Condescend for Unsummon or Boomerang I would take out the Infiltrator il-Kor because it's not a Ninja and suspend isn't that great when your trying to Ninijistu stuff Since I can't really think of much blue Ninjas, you could play Clone -1 Mana Leak -3 Remove Soul/ Essence Shatter -4 Infiltrator il-Kor -4 Condescend +2/3 Clone? +4 Unsummon/Boomerang +4 Negate +2 Higure, the Still Wind
You can't use more than 1 Sol Ring in any magic format
Banefire is already uncounterable..... You probably don't even need 4 Demonfire in your deck. Demonic Tutor is restricted, having more than 1 copy is illegal in all Magic the gathering offical formats. But anyhow, this deck just looks pretty horrible. It just won't do as well because of your reliance on all types of rituals. A card even like Healing Salve can beat this deck.
And also try to keep your deck to 60 cards. It's just best to because lower deck means you have a greater likely chance of drawing a card you need.
I would kind of take out a couple of Liege or Pits or Lord of Pits. Probably Lord of Pit. It's kinda really hard to cast out Lord of Pits and you can probably use more useful creatures than a 7/7 black trample user. You can maybe use Phage the Untouchable, Avatar of Woe, or pretty much more useful black creatures than Lord of the Pit. I would take out the Fatal Blows and add in different removal. Maybe Innocent Blood? And increase your land count to 24
Bant is there because I found out I need more lands. 24 lands seems a bit too little for the landfall deck so I added one more Umm... with Panoramas I can landfall during my opponent's turn you know. Like if my opponent casts a Shock (Deal 2 damage to a creature) on my Steppe Lynx, I can in response use the Panorama's effect and landfall and give the Steppe Lynx +2/+2 until EOT on my opponent's turn, saving it.
Because I don't really need to first turn cast Steppe Lynx. Forest and Mountains are more important because I have more spells that require it and with Forests I can cast spells that fetch lands. All I need is basically one card to fetch me a plains and I'm pretty much set for my white mana. None of the my spells costs double white mana.
Btw... I know what your saying that having 4 copies of a card you REALLY NEED is helpful. But in that comment I was refering to high-casting creatures new players just put in their decks for almost no reason and no supporting way to cast them. Of course a deck should run 4 copies of cards they REALLY NEED and is CHEAP TO CAST without really anything to help cast it because the requirements to cast it is like slim. But having multiple copies of expensive creatures (ex Akroma, Angel of Wrath) is most likely sucidal because she is first a legendary creature (Meaning all other copies of them in your hand becomes less useful because of the 1 legendary creature on the field with same name rule) and also because she costs 8 mana! It will take many turns to cast down Akroma. Though if you do manage to cast her, be really for some kick-ass fireworks because Akroma will pretty much mow down your opponent like nothing
Well it's usually better to actually have one copy of a card than 4 copies of an expensive card because your deck will work more streamline. Ok suppose you have a 5/5 that costs 6 mana and your only running about 20 lands. Having 4 copies of that card is just plain sucidal unless you are running any kind of mana acceleration, period. The chance of you drawing your first land is 20/60... 2nd land 19/59... 3rd Land 18/58... The chance of your drawing a hand of 5 cards and 2 lands is actually less than 50%. (The math part is just way too long to be shown here) The chance of you drawing enough lands to put down a land every turn till turn 5 is even less. (around less than 30%) Having one copy of a card (note I mean expensive cards) will not only help you most of the time, but also make your deck slightly faster. Well I try to be nice :). But sometimes posting my comment and trying to give constructive advice goes both ways as mean and somewhat helpful.
Pretty good deck actually... In case everyone is like confused. This deck focus on using Casade and initates together. You play a spell with Casade (1 spell) -> Casade it into another spel (2 spell) and take advantage of the Initiate's Effect to totally dominate your opponent. Good deck actually and pretty fun to play. But you probably should include some dual-colored lands just to make it more streamline. Because not having green mana (which is a lot of the time) and having Birds of Paradise in your hand is pretty much just sucidal
