Why are you using Fetch lands that can only get you Forests?

EDH mana-ramp tokens.... Once you get skullclamp, it's over.... Skullclamp probably wont be banned. It is a double-edged sword unless you have mana and creature flow. Also, all but black hates on artifacts at least once every 2-3 sets, some more.
Good old times. I miss the days when everyone owned a Goblin deck. Is it just me or does it take a while to become a threat? (minus your commander I mean)
@ Elesh Norn - Oh, So you didn't know? Elesh was a Vampire *whistles*, What's this, now your creature's get -2/-2. You'll probably already have at least 2 +1/+1 counters on the important ones before Elesh get's dropped so I wouldn't be worried. Plus, when Norn kills your small ones, a Tragic Slip will show Norn the error of his ways. <3
I agree. Especially since I hate losing to token decks, and the sad part is all they would have to do is smile at you till you draw no cards ...
Looks like my bad habit of not double checking my work shows it's ugly face once again. Thanks for tipping me. :)
People post their decks here to show off and get advice on how to make them better. To comment on how to improve them, you need to know what you're restricted to. If you don't like how I think, then label your deck in your deck description. For all we care this deck is freeform and needs for of each broken card in the entire freaking game.
Here we go again. I stopped replying on your deck because you've got a thick head Church. Tribal is an official deck format. Calling a deck tribal just because you want to is like spitting in Wizards face. Anyways, I don't plan on replying to your comment Church, so please don't join conversations I'm in. Sorry for Church and my 2 comments here. This sort of counter-discussion has nothing to do with improving your deck or bringing key elements to light so it's just him wanting to skyrocket his post count.
Okay.. I tried like 20 hands... and I rush casted for 6 mana(not using the {4} put a creature in your hand into play, withing 4-5 turns. Usually getting Primeval, Grave, or Inferno. My blue deck was able to keep up with clone-jutsu... @_@ barely.
It's not in their type so they don't count. The official rules state 1/3 your deck requires 20 or more of the type listed. Of course, creature cards that are Changelings count because they are every creature type at all times, even when you use Spawnsire of Ulamog to pull in Eldrazi cards you own. Gotta love that move! If you're wagering they're using a deck that DQs them from victory, I bet they're also using at least one of the following cards: Arboria, Balance, Channel, Circle of Solace, Demonic Consultation, Demonic Tutor, Engineered Plague, Extinction, Fastbond, Flash, Gleemox, Gush, Imperial Seal, Library of Alexandria, Mana Crypt, Mana Vault, Mishra's Workshop, Moat, Necropotence, Peer Pressure, Skullclamp, Sol Ring, Stasis, Strip Mine, The Abyss, Time Vault, Tinker, Tolarian Academy, Tsabo's Decree, Umezawa's Jitte, Vampiric Tutor, Wheel of Fortune, Yawgmoth's Will. In which case, they'd also forfeit any victory as well.
Okay then I do have 1 comment. I think you already know but I want to make sure... you know Hexproof doesn't protect you from Slagstorms 3 damage to every creature, right? :x
This is going to sound really mean but it's tough love... Who died and made you a developer for Wizards of the coast? http://www.wizards.com/Magic/TCG/Resources.aspx?x=magic/rules/tribalstandard http://www.wizards.com/Magic/TCG/Resources.aspx?x=magic/rules/tribal Those are the Official rules regarding what makes a deck a tribal. There are instants, sorceries, and enchantments that are literally labeled "Tribal [Card type] - [Creature type]". That is what makes a card count. I understand how you feel that just because your deck only has 1 race of creatures, it seems like it might be tribal... Just like real life, rules are Black and White. The gray area is for people who are trying to get away with what they did. Again, I'm not trying to be mean, it's just that I've seen people disqualified at the end of events after being named champion... and then the judges always had to reallocate prizes, it's hectic.
You don't need flying creatures.... Grab some Bladed Pinions {2}cast Equip{2} Flying/First Strike. Remember the big picture of your deck. Cats with Equipment, not cats and Flying creatures!
[Assuming Modern deck construction] Have you considered any of the 'Sword of' [War and Peace] [Feast and Famine] [Body and Mind] [Fire and Ice] [Light and Shadow]? You might like Darksteel Plate to keep your key cats alive. Considering how many cats in your selection are also soldiers, Veretan's Armaments. Cats to consider: [Taj-Nar Swordsmith] [Felidar Sovereign] I also think you should drop to 1/3 lands (20) so you have some room to increase your number of equipments. Considering it lacks removal/control so you might prefer to go for {1-2} costs that Equip for {1}. In that case, I'd recommend going for First Strike, Flying, Unblockable effects.
This deck is not tribal. One-third(20/60) cards must have the same subtype to be tribal. Since it couldn't be Tribal Standard, it must be Tribal Legacy. I'd say you could use Door of Destinies as well. Name Eldrazi. Coat of Arms + Door of Destinies = Overpowered Eldrazi walking the planes. Of course you'd want to throw in a ton more Eldrazi spells to make it work.
I've run many decks with 7-11 drops only using 20 lands. His second plan is to use Call of the Kindred to force-drop the 7 drops for free, or whatever other spirit he feels is better at the time.
With only 18 Spirit creatures, this deck is not Tribal. 1/3 of a Deck's Creature type must be the same to be tribal. With a size of 60, 20 cards must be Spirit cards. Apart from that, it looks solid.
Your deck looks fun but it feels like there's too few creatures. Are you going to mulligan down untill you get one?
MTG's version of Vader: "Your lack of Arc Runner's is disturbing."
I feel your Spikeshot Elder's ability is a bit lacking in this deck. You only have 16 goblins so it's not tribal.
