A friend of mine has a pretty swift R/W deck [boros, I think is what it's called]. I use the Black Sun's Zenith to keep most creatures off the board, using Mimic Vat to keep a critter that is worth it and churning it out for damage [mainly Skithiryx, but if anyone has anything else worth Mimicking then I am all for it. :)

Another deck I played was some kind of G/B deck...it used moderate/heavy creatures, but again...the Black Sun keeps alot of stuff off the field, and since it cycles back into my library, I am rarely hard pressed for one.

I was thinking about also trying out Horrifying Revelation instead of Duress. I'm also buying the following cards:
-Nim Deathmantle
-Ichorclaw Myr
-Septic Rats
-Livewire Lash

I like how these people are so hard up for you, batman! it's almost as if they have nothing else to justify their lives except for their decks. And here I thought the Magic: The Gathering community was a little less irritable than Yu-gi-oh players. But I guess my faith in the community is shaken when someone [fluffstar] goes from writing credible comments in regards to your silliness...to using ALL CAPS LOCK to try and insult you. Seriously...if this game is full of anal retentive people who can't keep themselves from insulting someone in that manner...then I don't want to have any part of it.

Replace Vampire Nocturnus with Captivating Vampire nowadays. It doesn't give them flying...but it guarantees a +1/+1 to your vamps and with 5 in play you can start stealing your opponents critters.

Can anyone give me some suggestions on my deck?

Double strike hits twice in any regard...against a critter it will hit for first strike and then normal if the opposing creature is not already dead. Against a player, it will hit for twice it's power.

I don't really see how Everflowing Chalice would be useful in this deck. I rely primarily on black mana [even for the Vector Asp].

I agree with the Inquisition. Also...I fucking love this deck!

I use the Black Sun in Conjunction with Mimic Vat, wiping the board and popping Skithiryx / Ichor Rats / Anything my opponent had worth copying.

Also...you have to watch out for bored sweeps [black suns zenith]. I'd suggest putting in some mimic vats as well and you cant go wrong with more hand of the praetors.

I would suggest Mimic Vat for the Ichor Rats if/when they die. Use the Vat to spring a Rat token out and pop on another poison counter.

His deck does have 60 cards. He has a 16-count sideboard.

I'd remove expunge in replacement of either Vindicate or Doom Blade.
