I need some pointers on trying to make my burn deck better while staying Type-2 legal. Any help would be awesome. :-D

Also, I LOVE proliferate. Mimic Vat + Core Prowler + Throne of Geth = Sexy.

Well this sucks. My deck went right off the new deck list in less than a day with only 1 comment from someone other than myself. Lame...

Because I can't find Raging Goblin in M12. I'm trying to keep it Type-2.

Undead Alchemist is seriously your worst nightmare when it comes to this deck. Also, what if your opponent jumps on the bandwagon and starts milling you too, and that ONE Laboratory Maniac gets tossed into exile? I like the idea of this deck, but the way you're going about it just opens you up for punishment.

I remember playing an Izzet-Themed deck back when Guildpact first popped up. I used Cheap casting cost instances with Niv-Mizzet, The Firemind and Mindmoil. Mana Flare and Invoke the Firemind made things immensely funny.

All in all I love U/R burn decks. They make me think about my better days :-D

Also, if you get a chance, please feel free to rate / review my current burn deck I'm working on. It'd be much appreciated.

For the early game, I intended on just trying to pepper my opponent with my 1 drops until I could start using Goblin Grenade and Brimstone Volley to really dig in. Curse of Stalked Prey, Hellrider and Rage Thrower are intended to be used later (even though I think the game would be over one way or another by turn 7-8) in case my opponent was able to gain life throughout the match.

If I didn't know any better, I'd say you took 2 copies of the U/B precon deck and mashed it together, throwing in a couple Ravnica lands in as well. I did the same :D minus the Dimir Aqueducts.

A good suggestion would be to remove Abattoir Ghoul for Undead Alchemist and -2 Stitched Drake and -2 Headless Skaab for +4 Walking Corpse. It's cheaper and doesn't dig into your graveyard for those critters you'll need for that Skaab Goliath.

Forbidden Alchemy and Screeching Skaab look so nice in this deck :)

Oh! And grab yourself a couple Rooftop Storms. Nothing wrong with free Zombies.

I agree with Tal. some other cheap(mana-wise mostly)+reliable cards you could use are:

-Vampire Lacerator (You'll get the life back with Nighthawk :))
-Bloodghast + Viscera Seer + Blade of the Bloodchief combo ( All low mana cost cards)
-Vampire Hexmage (DEFINITE)

And you CANNOT go wrong with throwing in a Mimic Vat or two, in case you feel like copying a critter that died (on either side). (Hey! That rhymed!)

Here are some cards to consider (If you're on a budget):

-Black Sun's Zenith
-Whispering Specter
-Dismember (It's like 4.99 on coolstufinc.com these days)
-Phyrexian Crusader (Causes R/W decks to wet themselves a little)
-Necropede
-Fume Spitter

Take a look at my deck for any tips if you think it might help :)

Ah, but with Mimic Vat copying Myr Battlesphere, he'll be churning out 4 1/1 tokens every turn for 3 mana and THEY wont leave play at end of turn.

Didn't you post this deck before? Use Mimic Vat for Invader Parasite so you can keep using it's EtB ability for only 3 colorless.

This deck makes me laugh when I look at it. It's totally intense in locking someone up! I ESPECIALLY like the Metamorphs, as they just love to jones off of whatever is good on the field artifact/creature-wise. Might I can't even think of a useful suggestion for this deck! Excellent!

-Score-
Deck : 10/10
Price: 3/10
Effectiveness: 10/10
"Lulz" factor: 9001/10

Feel free to critique my one and only http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=153232 and let me know what I can do with some easy-to-get cards.

I'm liking where this is going. You should try to get your hands on a couple Mimic Vats. They'll help with cards like your sun titan / inquisitor exarch / leonin relic-warder.

They both trigger when they enter the battlefield,.

A: Not quite. Warstorm surge triggers when a creature enters the battlefield [under your control]. Bloodthirst is a static ability that modifies how a creature enters the battlefield.

Q: So does the controller choose where they are in the stack?

A: No. Bloodthirst doesn't use the stack. as your creature is about to enter the battlefield it will check if an opponent was dealt damage this turn. if one was, then the event of the creature entering the battlefield is modified to include it entering with the counters [for a basic explanation]
