Hey bud, you know, I just got out of magic about a month ago.. yup, I know it's depressing. It had to happen, unfortunately. So, maybe in a couple weeks I will post an updated version, but it definitely won't be a playtested rendition. Might be fun to see what I can make of it.

oh dude. I built an entire turn one suicide deck. You will laugh when you realize how easy it is to do. not only that, if you don't get the turn one, you are guaranteed the turn two. check it out! http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=325761 Sorry to be another guy posting deck links, but you will laugh at this idea.
haha I am just saying that you should get them if you can afford it.
Definitely Ratchet Bomb in the side, also 2 more snapcasters in the side.
Well I think that's the overall argument that many people have been making on this page, and the beauty of Magic. Every card has it's moment to shine. Except Zephyr Spirit. it just sucks. haaha
Honestly no, Diregraf wouldn't be your best bet in that case. If you have 4 champs, or even 3 champs, your next best bet will be to go with Elite Vanguard. a playset of those is compatible. You know, two entreat the angels will be a good bet. I only have 1, so I make it work. Bladeholds you can run side or main. I personally like main, but lots of token guys will say she is better side. all up to you, hope the build works out!
Totally agreed, except the flavor text is awesome.
In which case, feeling of dread needs to be in here.
If you can afford it, I always think Angelic Destiny is a solid add to these kind of decks. that's just a fun thing, not completely necessary. I think you have this pretty nailed down already, except I think you need 3 or 4 mana leak. Possibly remove 1-2 Bonds of faith to make that happen? If you get a chance, I am doing a funny community build if you would like to join in! http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=344837
It's from Ravnica: City of Guilds.
No. Zephyr Spirit. 6 CMC for 0/6. When it blocks, return it to hand.
Bloodghast is the main party in this deck. everything bases around him. landfall triggers, mixed with fetch lands, the whole nine yards.
ten bucks says that one day you will eat your words for saying so. If it's future sight, it's gonna happen. I bet he is going to become ridiculous someday soon.
Stifle is the ONE FREAKIN card that I wish I could get a hold of. SO good for torpor decks. I love my red black, but man I would ditch it in a second for this variant.
Hey metamorph! Love the build here, I am definitely a token buff myself. My recommendations would be quite simply to move Sorin to the sideboard, cut the midnight hauntings from the sideboard.. and in the main, run one more Honor and one more gather. i swear your deck will run WAY smoother and faster if you do. Sorin is not good mainboard, which severely depresses me, but it's true. If you need any other ideas, check out my variant, it may help! You are definitely a fan of entreat the angels, I see. I think I will find a way to put 2 in mine, but not three. too risky to have it in my opening hand. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=325504
You are very welcome my friend. Hero can be difficult, but you can always find someone willing to make a deal. By the way, to keep this standard, you need Elspeth Tirel, not Knight-Errant.
I used to run dismembers, and honestly, the just aren't successful anymore. In this current mode of standard, most of the cards you want to shoot are 1/1 that become something awful. Gut shots and tragic slips are the way to go. Nevermore is fantastic, I must say. I don't run it because I don't have it, but even then, there is something I like about surgical. Can't put my finger on it. Sword of Body and Mind is steadily becoming a popular sword again, thanks to Delver. I don't run into too many delver variants at my shop, so I stick with my variant. You may need them, you may not!
Zephyr Spirit.
Obelisk of Undoing.
Alabaster Leech.
