Sounds good! What are you thinking dknight27?

If it helps, all of my decks (and those under construction) are all meant to be part of a pool of decks to play against each other. So far I've got about 55 set to be completed once it's all said and done. Trying to pick out interesting mechanics, themes, strategies or deck concepts from different points in history and tweaking them heavily until they're fun to play. Key concept for me is no infinite turns or infinite-lock effects. Every deck has a touch of removal if needed, even if only a card or two. Otherwise, they focus on their own shtick. These get pulled out a couple times a month, sometimes just 1v1 and we get a handful of games in, or I get up to 8 people together and we play a simple bracket. Fun stuff. :)Find what you think is cool and dig into it. Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise. :D
White Weenie and Wild Mongrel Flashback are my most favorite ones to play. White Weenie requires maximum aggression, trade at all costs, to not get outpaced and it's a lot of fun and atypical of most mono-white decks I've run across. Wild Mongrel is a fun card that leverages the Flashback ability. Both of these decks were budget staples in the Odyssey block back in the day. :)
Streamlined and focused the deck a bit after a deeper dig into my card collection. Still operates the same, just sharper.Added:2 [[The Immortal Sun]]1 [[Goblin Grenade]]2 [[Empty the Warrens]]1 [[Goblin Offensive]]2 [[Goblin War Party]]3 [[Hordeling Outburst]]1 [[Goblin Chieftain]]3 [[Goblin Lackey]]2 [[Goblin Recruiter]]2 [[Goblin Trashmaster]]1 [[Goblin Warchief]]1 [[Krenko, Mob Boss]]4 [[Mogg War Marshal]]1 [[Muxus, Goblin Grandee]]Removed:1 [[Mountain]]1 [[Fervor]]1 [[Coat of Arms]]1 [[Fodder Cannon]]1 [[Obelisk of Urd]]1 Seer's Sundial3 [[Shatter]]1 [[Arms Dealer]]1 [[Brass Herald]]1 [[Goblin Assassin]]1 [[Goblin Chirurgeon]]1 [[Goblin Dirigible]]1 [[Goblin Glider]]1 [[Goblin Mutant]]1 [[Goblin Sky Raider]]1 [[Kyren Glider]]1 [[Mogg Flunkies]]3 [[Mogg Sentry]]1 [[Vexing Shusher]]1 [[Warren Instigator]]
Those are the very best red decks in my opinion! :)
This is awesome. Love a pure aggro burn deck. This checks all the boxes for me. It's a high risk, high reward as you race your opponent's deck. :)

Any recommendations on better card efficiency, while keeping the [[Bloodchief Ascension]] theme in place? Mostly looking at some of the counter/burn spells to see if something better can be slotted in. Proliferate comes to mind but I don't want that to be sole focus ... maybe just a splash of it. I'm open to suggestions. :)
Swapped [[Keepers of the Faith]] with [[Plains]] within the sideboard.

I'm considering swapping out 2x [[Aether Vial]] for 2x [[Ratchet Bomb]], but we'll see. I'm sure there are other bits of feedback to make this deck to have improved performance.
Quite a few deck updates, so I'll showcase what I can remember here. Updated deck name to 'Bauble Broodstar Affinity - 60' from 'Broodstar Affinity - 60'.Added:2x [[Emry, Lurker of the Loch]]4x [[Frogmite]]3x [[Kappa Cannoneer]]4x [[Refurbished Familiar]]2x [[Thought Monitor]]4x [[Metallic Rebuke]]1x [[Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas]]2x [[Cranial Plating]]2x [[Engineered Explosives]]4x [[Mishra's Bauble]]2x [[Mystic Forge]]4x [[Urza's Bauble]]Removed:4x [[Memnite]]4x [[Vault Skirge]]4x [[Signal Pest]]2x [[Phyrexian Metamorph]]4x [[ornithopter]]2x [[Master of Etherium]]1x [[Wurmcoil Engine]]2x [[Dismember]]2x [[Soul Manipulation]]4x [[Thirst for Knowledge]]2x [[Ratchet Bomb]]1x [[Sol Ring]]1x [[Sphere of Resistance]]2x [[Swamp]]
Thanks for the feedback dknight27! My play group is mostly Legacy legal, with Vintage being allowed if the deck is otherwise banned in Legacy but legal in Vintage. Big money cards just don't exist in our play group, so it's pretty chill. Most of the deck's I've been building and the others I'm up against are fairly balanced against each other so it works out. No power 9 here. :DLooking into this, I agree. I'll try to source some [[Engineered Explosives]], they make more sense with what I'm trying to do in this deck and ... they can be dropped for 0 to boost the Affinity artifacts if needed.I'll swap over to [[Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas]] as well since I think I have one. I don't have a third [[Mystic Forge]] so we'll see how it plays. :)
For now, I'm going to drop [[Sol Ring]] and add [[Tezzeret, Master of the Bridge]]

Okay, I've made some drastic changes based on the feedback here and what's in my card pool. Any cards that were previously in the deck I just shoved in the sideboard for now and will remove when it's finalized. I do have to worry about tokens and some low cost tribal decks in my meta so [[Ratchet Bomb]] is desirable in that sense. I've left it in, but would love a better artifact removal or two cost black removal with that in mind if it exists. Otherwise, I've kept the 2 [[Broodstar]] and even if it's a token amount for [[Cranial Plating]] and [[Refurbished Familiar]], keeping the Blue/Black theme is important. I'm happy to boost this to 65 cards to squeeze a few more cards/sideboard into the main deck but I know it hurts deck efficiency.Thoughts?- I either have to keep the Mystic Forge [Legacy Legal] or drop the Sol Ring [Vintage Legal]
Thanks Anon88! I'll dig into these. I have, for years, struggled with how and if I should use [[Welding Jar]]. Ha! :D
Awesome insight! For anti-energy, have you thought about running [[Suncleanser]]?
This is very interesting. I like it, legitimately. I'd be curious to see what a possible sideboard would look like ... mostly to better understand what threats exist for this deck that need to be planned for.
