Okay, I've dug in and taken TheSwarmer's advice above to heart and made some changes based on what was in my collection and a few things in my budget. In play testing and with real games, the deck more consistently builds board presence. This is very insightful! Thank you! I'll see what cards I have and make some tweaks. :)
Will do! Thanks Gary! Is there a spot here on the main site that links users over to the MTG Vault social media accounts?
Ah yeah! :)
I am considering adding or finding room for 2x Ob Nixilis Reignited.
With an eye on casual game play and absolutely no infinite combos, what could be improved? This deck should be either legacy/vintage legal. If I've missed an infinite combo here ... please let me know. Any ideas?
No worries Gary! Legit, we get it. Is there anything we can do individually or as a community to help support you or this site?
Why would it be dead or no one at the helm anymore? I haven't really paid much attention to things other than building decks. :D Has there been stuff going on behind the scenes?I took a look at some other deck building sites, but they just don't have the look or aesthetic that MTGVault has. This place has been golden for so long.
Same issue for me as of midnight or so last night 3rd. I posted on the forum. Looks like this has happened a couple times this year?
Many thanks for these suggestions. I'll see what I can pull in and update from these suggestions!
I thought this was a joke card at first but no, it's legit! This looks like a lot of fun! :D
This deck is always a lot of fun, but it is firmly a casual kitchen table configuration, with a few areas of improvement desired.1) The mana base either plays as adequate or drowning in lands late game. Few creatures or spells in this deck require more than a single color to cast, relying heavily on colorless for the remainder. How can the mana base be improved?2) The 'Instants', 'Sorceries' and 'Enchantments' are okay, but there's gotta be better options out there. Any ideas on which of these could be swapped out for something better?3) The variety of slivers is an intentional aspect of this kitchen table deck. That said, are there any suggestions for better ones to include?
Thank you so much for explaining this. It makes sense to me now. :)
These are legit really solid suggestions. I'll look through my collection and see what I have or need to get. What's the specific card interaction that pairs with 'Consider' I should be understanding or is it just to help filter?
Casual yes. Building with what I have on hand. Any suggestions for improvements to look into?
