Thanks Anon88! I'll take a close look at these this weekend!

I'm considering dropping 4x [[Daze]] for other options as these arn't as useful once you hit mid-game. Any considerations would be appreciated. :)
I'm literally at a loss for words. This is so much amazing valuable information! Thank you for your insights here so so much. You're correct on the general approach of the deck. I'll do some digging this weekend to see what I have and then figure out what I can source. This will help to figure out a path forward. For better or worse, this deck is slotting into a 4 color spot (RWUB) in my collection, so I'll see what I can do with the advice given. There's a lot of excellent stuff to think on here. Thank you dknight27!
Fully understand. Just wanted to make sure they were there in case they were missed. :)
Ah, good memories here. I always tried to make shades work but outside of pumping them full of mana, I always struggled. This is a very cool build. For those not in the know, wizard's later printing of Ishan's Shade has 'Knight' and 'Shade' as the creature types. Some immediate considerations:This deck is screaming for [[Kindred Dominance]], [[Cabal Coffers]] and [[Cabal Stronghold]] to be included.I'd also consider [[Lake of the Dead]] even though it starts out at a loss, it's convenience for extra mana is useful.[[Dark Ritual]] and [[Cabal Ritual]] should be in this unless they're on a ban list for the format you're building for.Anything to help pump those shades. Some slower 'late game pay-off' cards to consider.[[Spoils of Evil]] could be a useful late game mana ramp to power your more expensive spells. It also can gain you life.[[Rain of Filth]] effectively doubles your mana production for one turn but at a cost of sacrificing the land.Lastly, I think this is on brand for this deck, throw in [[The Immortal Sun]] for good measure if you want to consider dropping [[Liliana of the Dark Realms]].

Again, I appreciate the insight and it's something I'll seriously look into. These suggestions make sense to me 100% and are not ones I had thought of or considered. If I could pick your brain further in a different direction, would you be willing to look at a separate deck I'm struggling with?https://www.mtgvault.com/boshimi336/decks/gifted-tokens-60/
I'm considering dropping 2x [[Delaying Shield]] into this deck as well. Something to ponder.
This ... is amazing insight! I'll dig through my collection and also see if I can source a fourth Ascension. Thank you dknight27!Do you have any recommendations for the most egregious cards to drop in favor of these suggested ones?
Sounds good! What are you thinking dknight27?
If it helps, all of my decks (and those under construction) are all meant to be part of a pool of decks to play against each other. So far I've got about 55 set to be completed once it's all said and done. Trying to pick out interesting mechanics, themes, strategies or deck concepts from different points in history and tweaking them heavily until they're fun to play. Key concept for me is no infinite turns or infinite-lock effects. Every deck has a touch of removal if needed, even if only a card or two. Otherwise, they focus on their own shtick. These get pulled out a couple times a month, sometimes just 1v1 and we get a handful of games in, or I get up to 8 people together and we play a simple bracket. Fun stuff. :)Find what you think is cool and dig into it. Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise. :D
White Weenie and Wild Mongrel Flashback are my most favorite ones to play. White Weenie requires maximum aggression, trade at all costs, to not get outpaced and it's a lot of fun and atypical of most mono-white decks I've run across. Wild Mongrel is a fun card that leverages the Flashback ability. Both of these decks were budget staples in the Odyssey block back in the day. :)
Streamlined and focused the deck a bit after a deeper dig into my card collection. Still operates the same, just sharper.Added:2 [[The Immortal Sun]]1 [[Goblin Grenade]]2 [[Empty the Warrens]]1 [[Goblin Offensive]]2 [[Goblin War Party]]3 [[Hordeling Outburst]]1 [[Goblin Chieftain]]3 [[Goblin Lackey]]2 [[Goblin Recruiter]]2 [[Goblin Trashmaster]]1 [[Goblin Warchief]]1 [[Krenko, Mob Boss]]4 [[Mogg War Marshal]]1 [[Muxus, Goblin Grandee]]Removed:1 [[Mountain]]1 [[Fervor]]1 [[Coat of Arms]]1 [[Fodder Cannon]]1 [[Obelisk of Urd]]1 Seer's Sundial3 [[Shatter]]1 [[Arms Dealer]]1 [[Brass Herald]]1 [[Goblin Assassin]]1 [[Goblin Chirurgeon]]1 [[Goblin Dirigible]]1 [[Goblin Glider]]1 [[Goblin Mutant]]1 [[Goblin Sky Raider]]1 [[Kyren Glider]]1 [[Mogg Flunkies]]3 [[Mogg Sentry]]1 [[Vexing Shusher]]1 [[Warren Instigator]]
Those are the very best red decks in my opinion! :)
This is awesome. Love a pure aggro burn deck. This checks all the boxes for me. It's a high risk, high reward as you race your opponent's deck. :)

Any recommendations on better card efficiency, while keeping the [[Bloodchief Ascension]] theme in place? Mostly looking at some of the counter/burn spells to see if something better can be slotted in. Proliferate comes to mind but I don't want that to be sole focus ... maybe just a splash of it. I'm open to suggestions. :)
Swapped [[Keepers of the Faith]] with [[Plains]] within the sideboard.
